- From $236.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 978 reviewsWe had a lovely chalet, the one closest to the beach (thank you, Ingar!). It was perfect for us and ideally located. The chalet was comfortable, warm, spotless, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. We enjoyed effortless beach walks, experienced the midnight sun, braved a full-on storm—and loved every minute of it. We dined in the restaurant all three nights of our stay, and the food and service were excellent. The restaurant has a talented chef, and the young staff took exceptional care of us. Thanks to all of them, and especially to Kaisa.Guest review byDavidIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 497 reviewsTo be honest I didn’t expected this place to be that great! During your staying, you basically live in the one of most iconic place of this country - fisherman’s houses. Everything inside is so authentic that you literally try to examine every detail of this hotel, from the windows of your room, to the houses in general. It’s also a great place if you like photography, not only due the big amount of beautiful places around, but also because the hotel itself looks incredible during the midnight sun.Guest review byJayNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,283 reviewsThe interior has been very nicely designed while keeping the classic exterior appearance of the fishing village. The soft furnishings really make it feel like a home. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare simple meals easily. Nice view of the water too.Guest review byFen NicholeUnited Kingdom

Pretty city in an amazing environment. We stayed here on a Sunday so everything was unfortunately closed besides the bar and turist shops. I would have loved to explore more both in and around the city !Guest review byAnonymousDenmark - 10.0

Beautiful home and the perfect amount of space for a group of 5 friends travelling together. Location was wonderful and several steps away from a grocery store (Coop). Kitchen was fully functional and a cozy living room to unwind in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!Guest review byJannica87Canada - 10.0

Lovely town in the Lofoten Islands with a beautiful beach nearby (Rorvika). Great cafes and restaurants especially Klatrekafeen. Would like to have done some hiking nearby but we ran out of time and it was actually too hot!Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The central location of Leknes on the Lofoten Islands was great for exploring the south and north. Shopping and dining were within walking distance of the apartment. I had a tasty fish and chips at the Diggs restaurant. The Bunpass grocery store had a lot to offer, and they had the best cinnamon rolls!Guest review byTeacher90Switzerland - 6.0

Please do not go to Scandinavia Hotel, the manager of the place is simply not human, did not compromise on a small mistake we made in the booking, they do not answer the phones and there was not a single person at the reception, simply a terrible experience.Guest review by3amer ZubedatIsrael - 10.0
Such an incredible place!
Such an incredible place! I visited in off season and two out of three days had good enough weather to explore. The third day had the most intense wind I have experienced, so it wasn’t safe to explore. I was happy with this experience but depending on what you want you may want to visit in summer, so that the trails aren’t so muddy. Even when they are, there is plenty of scenic routes to walk in between the towns!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Ballstad is a pituresque fishing village surronded by mountains. It's located right in the center of Lofoten which makes it a great base for those we want to explore the archipelago. Buksnes church is charming and a must see. Also it's near to Leknes where you can find a lot of stores and supermarkets. Ballstad will have a special place in our hearts as it was where we saw the most fantastic Aurora show which we were expecting for so long.Guest review byLeonardoPortugal - 10.0
A very dreamy and picturesque town.
A very dreamy and picturesque town. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding. This is the place. There is a small pier to walk on. The cinnamon roll in the village bakery is delish! Having a car makes staying here convenient as we drove to different places for food and exploration.Guest review byIvyCW CCanada - 10.0

Best place to stay for 2-3 nights to explore the western part of Lofoten. Fully furnished cabin is best so you can easily cook or reheat food as your own convenient time. Most importantly to enjoy the surrounding. Immerse in the serenity atmosphere and just chill 😎Guest review byMahadi BeeSingapore - 6.0

Good facilities, the guy at the Tourist Info was very good, but it felt a little... functional? There's so many great places to stay that maybe look twice? Henningsvaer has a more attractive character, for example.Guest review byJeremyUnited Kingdom
