It was by far the coziest place we're stayed in, everything from the decor to the people, there's a warmth that's hard to describe in words. In 5 nights we had bad weather and no northern lights until the very last night when we simply WALKED OUTSIDE OUR ROOM AND SAW THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. The location was just across the main street. Very clean and friendly staff. The room was just as described. Very clean and cosy. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever been to. The breakfast has many options. If we ever return to Svalbard we will definitely choose to stay there.

The accommodation was with snowshoe dogs, but luckily they didn't bark much. The only problem was that no one greeted us, no one was in the accommodation and no one even picked us up or answered our messages. Since it was unlocked, after an hour of waiting in the bitter cold outside, we finally climbed into the cabin and checked in. During the whole time, no one came, nor has anyone contacted us to this day. It was very strange, not even a welcome note, nothing. I have never experienced accommodation like this before.
