From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. After a long journey, we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and cold towels, and even picked up directly from the bus station—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Milan, the concierge, truly went above and beyond. He was the most attentive and caring concierge we’ve ever met, providing invaluable information before, during, and even after our stay. He took care of everything, from arranging free transport to the bus station and visits to the elephant breeding centers, to organizing our onward travel and bus tickets. His dedication to ensuring our experience was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. The hotel’s own safari guide, Raj, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife was evident, and his knowledge made our safari experience unforgettable. The team made sure to carefully walk us through all the tour options, helping us choose the best ones suited to our interests. Special thanks to the wonderful waitstaff, Robyn and Kabita, who went out of their way to suggest delicious local dishes and served the best coffee. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal a delight. This hotel delivers on every front, from outstanding service to thoughtful recommendations. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about its guests, this is it!

The staff is so friendly and always helping. I booked for 3 nights and extended 2 more nights. We organized our 2 day trek through them and it was just lovely and the guides were really good too! Lovely tour and value for money. The lunch boxes were so good. The hotel itself has nice food and nice breakfast too. And the little terrassen with relax chairs are so nice to just take some time to chill. The beds were comfortable and the nights are quiet. Nice.

We spent three nights at the Chital Lodge and we just loved it. When we arrived, we were very warmely welcomed by Bishnu. We got delicious lunch (we had all meals at the lodge breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything was delicious) and went on a Jeep safari right away. It was amazing, the nature, the animals the sunset, it was a beautiful afternoon. The next day we went on a boat safari and walked through the National Park for the rest of the day. Bishnu is very experienced and therefore we felt very save and we saw a lot of animals and birds. It was an amazing experience. The last day we strolled through the village and had another Jeep safari after lunch. Throughout these days we saw many rhinos and baby rhinos. We saw monkeys and beautiful birds, deers, crocodiles and even a wild boar. We were looking for an experience away of the big tourist lodges/safaris and found a jewel. The accommodation is very basic, but we spent most of the time on safari or in the dining area anyway, where everyone meets. Thank you Bishnu and your family for this unforgettable experience.

Staying at this hotel was a truly wonderful experience for me. The family is extremely helpful, warm, and friendly. They supported me with everything I needed. When I arrived, they carried my luggage all the way to the bungalow. To help me understand the area better, the hotel owner took me on a motorcycle tour and introduced me to the surroundings. When I returned from the safari, I was very cold and had no energy to go out. They prepared hot meals for me and brought them to my room. They also helped me join the most affordable safari options. When it was time to go to the bus, they personally entrusted me to the driver and saw me off with great care, treating me like a member of their own family. They are an incredibly sincere, kind, and welcoming family. This is a place where you can stay with complete peace of mind. The hotel is surrounded by mustard fields full of bright yellow flowers, with a beautiful garden. You wake up to birdsong in the morning. The room is clean and has everything you need. A place you can truly stay at with confidence. They also have an incredibly sweet dog named Max. Good boy, Max 🥰

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Jungle Crown! The location is perfect, nestled close to nature yet easily accessible. The rooms were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome. Despite our late arrival, the team patiently waited for us at both dinner and breakfast, always cheerful and accommodating. A heartfelt thanks to them for going the extra mile to celebrate my parents’ anniversary—with thoughtful room decor and a surprise cake that made the occasion truly memorable. This was easily one of the most warm and welcoming stays we’ve ever had, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chitwan!

We had a truly wonderful time Barahi jungle lodge. It was hugely relaxing and peaceful, with our beautiful room looking over the river. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was lovely too. Food was really delicious every meal. Loved all of it - very fresh and varied. We did two full days of drives and saw extensive wildlife, with a fleeting glimpse of a tiger in the distance. However the large number of rhino, deer, monkeys, some sloth bears, bison and birds mean that it’s a really enchanting experience in beautiful surroundings. Huge thanks to every member of the team for making it such a wonderful experience. There was extreme kindness and generosity shown.

We have been travelling for 3 months now and this is the best place we stayed. The atmosphere is very nice with a green garden in the middle. The room was good and clean and the breakfast was delicious. What makes it more special is the great service. All the people that work here are very friendly and helpfull. When you ask for something, they help you directly and very good. It looks like you are in a very expensive hotel. We liked it a lot and I can really recommend this place.

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

The location maps they point to are incorrect. It took me in the opposite direction. Even the mobile they provide is incorrect. I complained to the front desk staff to correct immediately so that the other client won't be misguided.

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4...

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

It was my second visit to Chitwan.

It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
