Great location - away from the bustle of Rotorua - but just a quick drive to get into town. Super close to the amazing Okere Falls cafe and lovely bush walk. You will love the place.
You will love the place. Don’t worry about the Sulphur smell in town as you do get used to it everywhere you go. There’s so much to see and do in the vicinity. Visited Hobbiton, Huka Fallls, the thermal areas around & outside of Rotorua. Māori Village and the lake areas of Rotorua. I loved the nature and surrounding lake and canals. Good for people with boats and who want to get away from populated areas. If needing food supplies bring with you as the restaurant on site works according to bookings (eg not all day /all the time).
