It has a parking right next to the rooms. the rooms are clean and nice.
it is a quiet place few minutes walking from the lake, the restaurants and supermarket.
We have used it as a centre to visit Rotorua, Tongariro and Huka Falls. and even access to some running trails

What did I like? The secret thermal mineral pool in my apartment. The massive lawn space looking out over Lake Taupo and the sky; oh the sky. Crossed the road and we were in thermal sands and water with palm trees on the roadside. People swimming, kids playing. Moved up a bit to the next bay it was our own wee private beach. What's not to love?
And pretty much in the town and close to everything you need. 100%

We unexpectedly were arriving late from Waikato hospital, staff were very understanding wich was much appreciated 😊
Polite and friendly staff, our stay was absolutely amazing.
My husband and I apreciated the immaculate and comfortable unit, we also hope to enjoy the spa pool again soon😊 10 out of 10! we highly recommend, and thankyou for making our anniversary special 💕

Peaceful location and close enough to town. Rooms were big enough and need comfy. Spa ɓath in separate room made it all that more spacious for storing large items out of the way, like our bike. staff were friendly and helpful. Allow you to have your pets with you.

Spacious appartment in a peaceful setting, very close to the lake, absolutely clean, very well equipped and taken care of, overlooking a beautiful garden. We had a great relaxing stay here and can highly recommend it.

Spacious rooms, great equipped and tv's that work so well. The pool and smaller hotpool are nice and warm. Everyone is quiet and respectfull and kind. The woman at the front desk was very hospitable. Would recommend!

It was clean and nice. Aircon was a plus point after a long day in the sun. Washing machine in my toilet but dryer are located at the common facilities. I will stat here again. My son loves the warm waterpark.

Taupo is a great destination.
Taupo is a great destination. Pre-plan your activities in advance and enjoy the various activities on offer or just relax around the lake. There is a great variety and abundance of restaurants to suit every taste. We ate at the Vine restaurant, which was a little pricey, but the food was excellent.

Kurutau is a beautiful very peaceful with amazing local and friendly people. We went on the river run fantastic and then a swim in the Lake. The weather is fresh, crisp nice and chill in the evening. My daughter's bach was right on top of Omori breathtaking view of the Lake and we could walk down for a swim.
I would highly recommend Kurutau to families, friends and to anyone doing a road trip around New Zealand.

The location is lovely, the clean room very tastefully done with an excellent bathroom. Self serve breakfast is provided in the room so no need to pack up and then drive to get food. The check out time of 11am allows for a relaxing morning especially after a long drive like we had.
Kinloch is nearby on the lakeside with a general store. Worth a walk and a swim. The quiet side of Lake Taupo.

Would stay at this place again but they need to give better instructions to get in the gate as the code doesn’t work. Don’t tell you that! Also doesn’t tell you no visitors allowed on the site but says that on the info sheet inside. Like you go to see family but they can’t stop in for a cuppa - bit rough!

The accommodation was good, plenty of eating places to choose from in town or just stroll the shops for exercise, quite a lot of attractions to choose from like lake cruse, golf, bungy jumping , senic flights and many more.

Turangi is a beautiful, scenic location and the people are very welcoming and friendly. We were impressed by the service and choices at the Hydro Cafe, the Flytackle shop and the NZ Post shop. We also enjoyed the Pihanga Gallery showcasing local art and crafts and a delicious Italian meal at Valentinos. It was beautiful in late autumn and we'll visit again.

The beach is nice but it is always super crowded like the Riveria or something. Very limited facilities in Kinloch with just one general store and a cafe both of which are always busy because of the beach crowds. If staying in Kinloch you need to bring food with you.

Taupo is a great place to stay if you like scenic views and relaxing locations. There are your pick of restaurants and entertainment but be prepared to spend, most of our dinners were min. $50NZD per head but you get great food and plenty of it.

I left Turangi and just came back after 17 years. There's a lot of improvement and a lot busier. I love Turangi and the sorrounding area. I was just dissapointed when I found out that the public toilet is not working.
