Belinda is thorough, attentive, prompt and efficient. Thank you for our warm welcome, super clean rooms and the magnificent view of the marina. We really appreciated how well kept and neat our rooms were. The beds were so plush and comfortable and air-conditioning perfect. Loved that the rooms had SkyTV. Our stay included breakfast and I must say that in all my travels around Aotearoa, this was one of the neatest, most thoughtfully laid put motel breakfasts. Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 10.0

Loved the friendly people, very creative and arty outlets, and artists, lovely eateries and markets, lots to do and see. We unfortunately got caught in the bad weather and were stranded for two more days - would have been great, but too wet and flooded to do anything else.
