Simply amazing. One of the best hotel experiences ever - and we have had many. Such a lovely, historical college building, beautiful decor, cleanliness and perfect customer service. A beautiful room and bathroom, lovely bed and linens. We also liked the continental breakfast a lot. I have celiac diseace and had yet a good choise. The breakfast hostess earns our special thaks. Location in the Arts Centre was great with shops a lovely restaurants and a cafe. Sadly the antiquities museum was closed Mon - Tue. Also the museum tram has its stop very close. Keep up the service-minded spirit. Thank you! ♥️🇫🇮

-The location of where the hotel is, it makes it accessible to access from central Christchurch via walking. -The breakfast was fantastic in the morning a lot of choice and variety. -The bedroom and hotel in general are relatively new. It’s super clean, pristine. -The toiletries are amazing. They smell great the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower gel. -The cocktail I had in the bar was tasty. -The staff were friendly and helped when required.

One of the best stays during our time in NZ. The staff was friendly and the rooms were SO clean and spacious. The rooms were very thoughtfully designed too, with a washing machine in each room and every amenity you could possibly need. I highly recommend staying here, I wish all hotels were like this.

From what I saw on the booking site I wad very confident that I would like the property. That turned out to be an understatement it was excellent. The accommodation was large in a beautiful location that overlooked the Kaiteriteri beach. That there was a swimming pool (indoor and out), hot tubs and the breakfast was excellent was icing on the cake. I highly recommend in fact youd be mad to stay anywhere else.

A quick list of things I really liked there and saw in three days. Signal hill, a pint of stout at Carey's historic Pub, a walk out to the spit. The Otago penisula, Larnach Castle, the albatross centre, tour with Clearwater seeing the yellow eyed penguins, walking Allan's beach. The farmers market near the trainstation on saturday, the bottle of home Yorkshire ale I bought from the market, two pints at Woof, sitting at Maggies drinking coffee and reading for an hour and talking to the locals. Wandering around admiring the architecture. Loved the place.

A quaint town that is known for its dark skies -- it was a wonderful experience stargazing at night. During the day, the lake provides a wonderful backdrop for pictures and the area is rich in history. We also enjoyed the fish and chips by The Better Batter -- definitely a must try!

We were in Wanaka to hike French Ridge.

We were in Wanaka to hike French Ridge. Unfortunately, the snow line was too low and deep, so we made the call to turn back. It was a 30km day, but we loved being in Mt Aspiring National Park. The following day we hiked Mt Isthmus, a definite leg workout but the views made it worthwhile. Some of our party then took a dip in Lake Wanaka to ease the muscles! There are plenty of food options and bars too within easy reach to suit all pockets. Such a fabulous part of the country.

Nelson is my favorite place to go to.

Nelson is my favorite place to go to. I traveled up from Christchurch to collect a new car and was able to spend the day and night wandering around the city. My go to place is the Cathedral, steeped in history and with stunning really old trees. Lit two candles for my loved ones, gave a donation for the beautiful buildings' upkeep and soak up the spiritual atmosphere. Able to sit on the grass under a Black gum which was huge, relax and enjoy the smell of the pines. Fabulous food trucks and cafes. Easy to walk around, just a fabulous place. I would highly recommend it.

Smooth ferry ride and beautiful views. Cute, peaceful and walkable town. Enjoyed dinners at Thirsty Pig and Pinch of Spice. Views from Marina a dream. Easy hikes at Harborview track and Bob's Bay. It was not the best time to visit what would normally be a lovely alpine village, due to a recent major storm event which felled a large number of trees. All the cycling and walking tracks in the forest were closed. We also had trouble with some driving, due to road closures not identified on websites. I enjoyed the thermal pools, despite it being wet at the time. The heating pools kept you warm and there was some shelter in the rain. I was glad to get a good discount on standard entry. It snowed whilst we were there, and it was very scenic seeing the big peaks snow covered in late October. We walked through light snow in the nearby Lewis Pass. We enjoyed some nice food in local cafes and assembled a healthier meal from a trip to the local 4 Square. I would like to come back when the tracks are reopened.
