The bed is fantastically comfortable. Nice kitchenware with all the necessary bits and bobs. It was nice and warm and dry inside, and really liked the decor as well.

Lovely and welcoming warm room, very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and included a heated blanket if desired. Breakfast offering was lovely, especially the granola.

An exceptional experience in terms of our accommodations in New Zealand. The host truly cares about your stay and it's not just empty words that get copied that you get during check-in. The house is amazing from the drive up past the pond to the highland cattle the view and the lodge itself. The structure and architecture of it is stunning. The owners were very kind and helpful ohhh we loved the jam and crumpets wow. Actually had to buy some more jam was that nice. Thank you so much we loved it.

Just a perfect place! The Chalet (nr 22) had everything you could wish for & state of the art appliances! Better then home ;) !

What wonderfull greeting from Alison and Ron and what a beautiful accommodation. Very comfy beds, each with own shower room (small but very functional). Alsion had already setup the table for breakfast the next morning, cereal, croissants, milk, juice, butter, jams ..... use of microwave, fridge, washing machine.Gas fireplace made it very cosy and our son was super happy to have the extra TV channels to watch the football world cup. Unfortunatly only stayed one night so did not see much of outside ameneties of the village but would have happilly stayed 4-5 days extra ... specially due to such a wonderfull, welcoming, helpfull couple, Alison and Ron !
