I had a great stay at Fat Lips. The team running the place are super nice and friendly. Special shout out to Tim, the owner, who comes with big smile, great advices for surfing experience also gave me a ride when I arrived to find a motorbike to rent. Overall a nice person to hang out with in the mornings while making breakfast in the common area. I know I have a friend when I go back again to Siargao. :) Lest to forget mentioning about two absolute adorabale friendly dogs, Mia & Tiger. Location is great. You will find the sign on the street and after a 1 minute little adventure you'll find the place. Very close to surfing areas, like Cloud 9, etc., close to Cafés and a nice BBQ. Rooms are clean, comfortable and and facilties are new and in good condition. Good internet (starlink), good AC, good shower, the rooms come with a fan and a light which could be used during electricy cut-off. My room had a big balcony that made my stay even more pleasant. I'll be back!

We really enjoyed this accommodation. Casa Basa is new and very nice and stylish. Everything is clean. The location is calm, so when you want to rest a little bit from the night life in General Luna, that’s the place. Also the food was very good there, we liked their breakfasts and coffee. Owner Ralf and his family are so nice and helpful, we were feeling really good here, they are so warm, kind and hospitable. They help us a lot with our traveling trough the island. Everything was perfect highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at Kalinaw for 4 nights. Kalinaw only recently reopened, the villa was HUGE/MASSIVE with a private pool. There were couple other villas still under construction next to ours however the resort staff were aware of this and accomodating for this minor inconvenience. Our only criticism for the room is a patchy wi-fi and pillows were too soft for us. Staff were very attentive and friendly, breakfasts were all very good, the cocktails (in particular, fresh coco shake with rum and banana daiquiri) were fantastic, and Chablis with cheese platter and croque monsieur was great too. We had a steak and a rabbit for dinner, which were good but the steak was somewhat small and the rabbit was a little salty for me - but again, overall, food was great and very well priced. Staff were very helpful organising a scooter rental and massage as well as complimentary yoga mats. We had massages twice during our stay, once in outdoor area and once in our room! The infinity pool was fantastic, we enjoyed the morning/afternoon/evening dips every single time we get a chance. The surrounding garden space was very tropical and beautiful as well. The communication with the reception and the restaurants are all via ipad messenger, and the responses were timely. There is no actual beach front, the villa stands out onto a retaining wall on to the waterfront. Villa is located about 900m from Cloud 9 (15mins walk), about 2.5km from central town (5mins scooter) and less than 3 mins walking distance from a new restaurant “Roots”. Overall, we had a good relaxing time and we highly recommend the Kalinaw for your luxury stay in Siargao!

There's really nothing to complain about this place, everything about it is great and I believe you cannot find any structure which looks the same with the same price tag. We also had the chance to chat a little with the owner who has lived a really adventurous life and has plenty of great stories to tell, I really hope to resemble him, even a little, when (and if) I grow old myself. Thank you Khan and thank you to all the people in the staff who were really kind and super accomodating with all of our requests

they were a lifesaver during the power outage. the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. all of them made made sure we had a lovely stay. they prepared a romantic dinner set up for my partner and I for our anniversary and it was beautiful. it has a peaceful vibe and the breakfast was also delicious. the pool was a nice temperature and it has a great location in general luna.

This is my "Go to place" every time I visit Butuan City. I honestly can not say enough great things about this hotel. The staff are always so friendly. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The free breakfast is large, great tasting and plentiful.

I was in General Luna five years ago, and there are now many more establishments than before. Hopefully, the area can prepare and improve its infrastructure accordingly, as some roads have become quite narrow. Sad about the dogs loitering the busy narrow streets. Some dogs were not in good state,

Transportation was convenient to and from the apartment. Very cost effective. I learned of and utilized "tricycles" and "multi cabs". This was easy for me since I was in the company of a lady who spoke the local language. I recommend use of a translator or as I did, a special friend who speaks the language. I also disagree with booking.coms 3 out of 5 review. That is a low score compared to my experience.

Nothing much but surfing. Some popular restaurants are hype. The French bakery near the Surf area serves really really good breadz croissants, sourdough and other food. The burger place we went to is much much better than shake shack. The coffee place we tried serves much much better coffee than starbucks and zus.

Burgos is a quiet place with easy access to Pacifico Beach for surfing and to the main attractions in the north, with motorbike rentals, fresh fish and fruit markets, and great restaurants that will grill the fish you buy for you.

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact...

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

I was too early for good waves, but is an amazing place! The island is so beautiful, the people is great! Is a really save place and friendly. Local vendors do not bother you. Lot of traffic, but good vibes all the time! Love Siargao

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

General Luna is an ideal place for surfers (from enthusiast to pro). Although, hoping my next coming will be improved) but for us working remotely anywhere, data internet is a bit challenge specially if there is a typhoon. This is near to activity and go-to places (party and food).

Only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Surigao down to Pantukan wanted to break up the long drive south ! Butuan was a very busy city and lots of traffic. smog was bad due to the heat and high volume if traffic .We only visited the mall which was like every other mall ! We went to a pizza restaurant looking for alternative and guess what they only had pizza available everything else was off the menu ! But far play the pizza was awesome and very filling ! So 10/10 guys
