The hotel is very new. According to the staff, it opened in late Dec 2022 so it's about one month old when we were there. Although it is a new hotel, all the staffs are very well trained, Kudos to the management. From the doorman, hotel transport driver, receptionist, hotel manager, the service staff at the Vegan restaurant and roof top bar, everyone is very helpful, warm and welcoming! They made our stay extra special. They recommended good tours and restaurant in the town too. Heartfelt thanks to PJ, Dani, Lorraine, Snoky, Nicole (from Verde restaurant) and the rest of the team. The location is amazing. The roof top bar has breathtaking view of the beach and other islands. Only about 2 mins walk to the beach where all the island hopping tour starts. About 5 mins walk to where the Canopy Walk starts. Easy access to other beaches and tourists activities via local tuk tuk transport at a relatively low fee. There's lots of good restaurants and shops very near the hotel. There's also a great spa that provides manicure/pedicure and massage services in the hotel building. The rooms are spacious with good views. The bed, duvet and pillows are very comfortable and fresh. They provided free bottled water and several cans of soft drink in the mini fridge too. My husband and myself are not Vegetarian nor Vegan but we truly enjoyed our meals at the restaurant. We were worried that we will miss bacon and eggs for breakfast but they serve extremely tasty and healthy breakfast menu and great coffee too. All the food presentation was excellent giving us good appetite 👍 We highly recommend H Hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday in El Nido.

If you’re looking for a unique, comfortable and unforgettable hotel experience in El Nido - Look no further! The villas are modern, clean and beautifully designed with the highest attention to detail. In Southeast Asia, it’s quite uncommon to get actual blankets, usually they resemble the comfort of a thin paper. Thanks to Alon I could finally snuggle into a blanket again and slept like a baby. You can feel the love that went into this place in every corner. The deck with a huge bamboo table hugging a tree is the heart of the hotel. There, you can enjoy breakfast (which is freshly prepared and oh so delicious!), cozy book reading sessions or, thanks to starlink WiFi, even work from your laptop. The location is very secluded, giving space to disconnect and enjoy nature, surrounded by many plants and rice fields, as well as a clear sky full of stars at night. A scooter can be rented on request and I would advise to do so to get around easily. One of the most beautiful beaches in the Philippines and probably THE most beautiful beach in El Nido, Nacpan beach, is only a 10 min ride away. What we loved most about our stay at Alon are the hosts Carl & PY. Their hospitality is outstanding and needs to be mentioned in this review! These two are so welcoming, comforting and attentive and were the cherry on top of our amazing stay. If I could give 11 stars I would.

Everything. The staff here were great, very friendly and very helpful, they went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as they could. The newly built rooms were beautifully designed. The facilities were also excellent, free scooter which was so handy, the pool was clean and a nice choice of breakfast and coffee every morning. We originally booked for 2 nights and stayed for 7 we were so happy with the accommodation. Its nicely situated between El Nido town and Lio beach. And let's not forget the free daily in-room massage, perfect after a long day out island hopping or the free access to the gym. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful - always catering to our needs. We had a delicious complementary dinner and breakfast. We were also allowed to use their scooters for free :) The villa itself needs no further explanation. Newly built, very modern, comfortable and luxurious. The room was spacious, the toilets were clean and staff was friendly. Great spot if you want to be in the heart of the city. Be mindful though of simbang Gabi which only happens on the Sundays leading up to Christmas but that's outside of the hotels control. Church is played though a loudspeaker early sunday morning on the days up to Christmas.

    The staff, room setup, ambience of the resort. The resort is a very cute place with an ample amount of greenery all around you. They have a restaurant downstairs which serves good breakfast (at a discounted rate for in-house customers) which they even deliver to your room. One good thing about this restaurant is that they accept cards(which I've hardly seen at other places). The staff is very friendly and a fun bunch of people. Shower in our room was an open shower which was cool. They provided good quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner too! They even provided a smart TV with Netflix subscription. They have a spa within the resort where the staff is very good at providing relaxing massages.

    Amazing resort. The people giving negative reviews are clearly spoilt and entitled! The location is perfect on a private island beach with crystal clear water and great snorkelling. You have access to kayaks and snorkels and can paddle round to a stunning sandbar. The pool has the best view of any pool I’ve ever been in. The staff are lovely and service is outstanding. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a great shower.

    When you get inside, it’s like you are transported to a different place. The peace, the quiet, the vibes are superb. The resto and the bar are in a very prime location, with breathtaking views of the sunset. Best part is the staff ! Everyone is uber friendly and amazing and theyre just super amazing !     El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that...

    El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.

    The nature is incredibly beautiful, just be careful with what you eat or drink. Better to buy only mineral water. And try to avoid to eat the food which is included in the island hopping for your safety.

    I’m in 2 minds about El Nido..

    I’m in 2 minds about El Nido.. I loved the location & the fact that island hopping was so accessible there as well as other beaches (Vanilla & Lio). Unfortunately it has become a bit of a tourist trap with very little local Filipino culture. 95% of the restaurants were catered to Westeners (think pizza, burgers, pasta etc) and were overpriced. It was very hard to find Filipino food which I think is pretty sad. There was none of the charm of Port Barton or even Bohol which has still retained a feeling of the Phillipines despite being tourist locations. Lots of the restaurants we looked up had multiple reporting of food poisoning which made it difficult to find something suitable for our family of 5. We did however really enjoy Vanilla beach & Lio beach which had some affordable food & drink options along with their stunning views & swimmable waters. Overall a beautiful place, but I preferred Port Barton & wish we had spent more time there in comparison to El Nido. Island tours were similarly priced & more low key.
