Only 3 bungalows on the property, fingerlickin' good food made daily from fresh and local ingredients, and breathtaking views to enjoy all day long from your balcony or the infinity pool up the hill. From the moment your driver picks you up at the airport, to when you step the island and into paradise, you already feel the luxury and comfort. Each and every staff member makes you feel at home, at takes great care of you, remembering names, preferences and checks in regularly. The resort is magnificent, hidden in a secluded bay on a private island, and lives up to its 5-star fame. The restaurant with great menu, the edgeless pool with ocean view, the bar with breathtaking views, they bay to snorkel in, everything adds up to a great stay. The beach view villa is large, with a great kind bed, and direct views on the beach, and has its own indoor and outdoor bathroom area, with a large rain shower. There is a safe, a TV with apps like Netflix etc, and an airconditioning that works great to cool things down for a proper night sleep. While there is no cell reception on the island, they do have fast and good internet via Starlink. From every villa, or resort area you can access the wifi and be connected, if needed. Power is steady as they have their own generators and large solar farm up the mountain. Everything is taken care of: from carying your suitcases from the dock to the villa, the turndown service at sunset, the extra towels at the pool and bay area, a water hose at your front steps to shower off the sand from your slippers, etc. Definitely a 5-start paradise!

We loved how beautiful everything was at Discovery Coron from the moment we arrived! The view from our Oceanview Suite was exceptional, the bed was huge and comfy. The provided bathroom amenities were lovely too. We packed light and the resort provided everything we needed. Everything was very clean, and service was moments away if we desired anything else. The food was good at both the Firefish Restaurant and Sinag, though we primarily ate at Firefish. The nightly food themes keep things interesting, and the included breakfast buffet was extraordinary! I ate the Mickey Mouse pancakes everyday and loved how fresh and fluffy they were, the fresh omelets were great too. If they have the watermelon juice my suggestion is fill up your water bottle for daylong refreshment! The swimming beach was great, with plenty of sun or shade options for spending the day. We particularly enjoyed the pool by the Sinag restaurant, we had it to ourselves one afternoon and it was lovely. We also did the day trip to Coron and it was well worth the price for a fun day of exploring, swimming, and excellent food. The evening movies poolside, and Karaoke room were also highlights of our stay. All in all an excellent experience and well worth our time and money.

Our stay at El Nido Resorts Pangulasian was truly unforgettable. Surrounded by stunning nature, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking sunsets, the resort offers the perfect mix of luxury and tranquility. We stayed in a beautifully decorated and well-equipped beach villa with a stunning sea view. The food and drink options were excellent, and the choice of activities was fantastic. A highlight was our 4-hour private boat tour, where starting early at 7 AM allowed us to enjoy El Nido’s most beautiful spots in peaceful solitude. We happened to come across a school of about a hundred dolphins who were curious enough to approach all around our boat. The hospitality was outstanding. Special thanks to Younes, the Food and Beverage Director, who made our stay memorable—just as he did during our honeymoon at Raffles Maldives four years ago. Also, a big thank you to Anton (the waiter), Anton (the guide), and Rei (the experience assistant) for their exceptional service. El Nido Resorts Pangulasian is a dream destination for anyone seeking luxury, adventure, and natural beauty. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel and location. Free tours available to the small and big lagoons, which due to the proximity arrive before all the remaining tourists arrive, giving a real private experience. Excellent food and facilities. Overall great and friendly staff. We arrived at 09:00 and were allowed to check in to a room straight away (even though ours wasn’t ready yet, we were given another one until ours was ready)

The atmosphere in this hotel is very unique in the best way, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the interior is very tasteful. The food is good but on the pricy side. The hotel also assists in arranging tours and transport - it all went very smoothly. They also have two dogs that you can take for a walk - quite an added bonus if you ask me :)

El Nido is a must. Leave full days for the island hopping tours. A B C D Zip line is a nice experience needs less than half a day. Canopy walk is Donald in a couple of hours. Best to have at least 3 full days at least

The damage from the previous typoons is still present. There are numerous bars, I recommend the Pacifico Bar, they have Octoberfest sized mugs to hold the Red Horse Beer. It is 50 Pesos each way from the hotel to town and back. On the island tours, the outhouses are the absolute bare minimum, a toilet, no seat, no tank, no TP, a bucket and a ladle and no sink. Wear grippy water shoes, the stairs are slippery. Go see the Coral Garden, elsewhere all the other fish are <5" and no coral. Unless you go to the the Coral Garden, the crystal kayak is a waste of money. Still I had a great time, the staff did an amazing job, life is an adventure!

Need to have more efficient traffic management during peak hours. The LGU should improve, sustain and maintain infrastructure esp the port and the walkway.. When we went to the port to buy streetfood the stalls are sitting in rough ground and very muddy after rain. It is not good to see for visitors to walk around and wondering where tourism tax are spent for? More people will have a fruitful stay in the city if the place is worth staying for few more days befire heading to E Nido and other popular places..

Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem. The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weather

I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice...

I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice places to stay! Lio is another nice spot to stay. Town is good if you like going out to eat, and see a lot of things But staying in lio, nacpan or duli is also nice if you want a more peaceful, quiet time. even sibaltan would be nice (check out the manta rays if you dive)

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!
