Hotel is located in the very heart of Polanica Zdroj. Close to everything. Amazing park across the road with thermal water available for drinking in the middle of the park. (not available during winter due to freezing temperatures). Very close to Wielka Pieniawa where massages and turf baths are available. Hundreds of different treatments available there as well after initial visit to spa doctor who will prescribe treatments. Hotel offers all yo can eat breakfast and dinner. We only had breakfast but quality of food is really good. Good restaurant on the site as well.

Excellent location. The whole town Polanica-Zdroj is a diamond in the crown of Polish resort area and the hotel is located right were it should be - not very noisy, yet close to everything. Delicious breakfast in a quiet open air atmosphere. Summer concert in the patio was a pleasant surprise - Chopin's music is never too old. I booked a room with twin beds, but Booking was not able to confirm the bed type. Although the room was provided with the double bed, the hotel stuff managed to change it to 2 single beds in a minute. No discontent, no complains.

Another excellent stay in a wonderful place with a lovely atmosphere and friendly welcome. The breakfast had a really good range in the buffet and all was well prepared. We were very happy with everything and will definitely stay here again.

A lovely town with great walks and restaurants, we enjoyed bon appetit, dobre smaki, hospoda cheska for drinks. While we don't speak polish, you can get by with smiling and pointing and saying thank you in polish. Very few places speak English so be prepared for this. The ski resort is virtually inaccessible if you don't speak polish as you need to book a taxi through the ski bus service or another taxi service, you can text the ski bus service but it does cost more than advertised on their website, in peak season there is a local ski bus that runs throughout the day.

A town of surprising beauty. Did not see that coming. A great spring day helps too. Be sure to walk from the toboggan to the Park - both along the promenade... and also up over the hill via the stairs. A tknne of civic pride is evident here.

A popular pilgrimage place with a basilica. If that's the goal of your trip, you want be disappointed. Apart from that, not many facilities. There's a small grocery shop where you can pay by credit card. Not sure about restaurants. No ATM.

A lovely place with plenty of walking areas and a unique experience for those who want to try healthy mineral water and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Numerous excellent restaurants and charming piano concerts featuring Chopin’s music. A great base for those skiing in the Zieleniec Ski Area.

Kudowa Zdrój is a lovely place as a holiday destination. There is only one main road with plenty of restaurants that serve delicious Polish and Czech food (Cech - lovely food&drinks, Taka Ryba - shop/restaurant, they make their own sushi every Thursday, Bar Mleczny- traditional , homemade Polish food with plenty of choices, Ptyś- delicious cakes ,and many,many more...) There are tour agencies with a huge offer of trips (in Poland as well as to neighbourhood countries / National Parks). You also find museums, Kudowa Rope Park, bike rental and, obviously, mountain trails. People in Kudowa are super welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The city is very clean and well maintained and has a lot to offer. Beautiful surroundings and views. High standard of service with knowledgeable and experienced staff (restaurants, guides). Kudowa is a very good choice for a relaxing and active holiday .

I really hope there will be more space for public and...

I really hope there will be more space for public and private investments in this area. Compared to Polanica Zdrój, situated just a dozen of kilometres away, Duszniki has still a long path to cater for the basics of the basics.

That was not my first visit in Kudowa Zdroj.

That was not my first visit in Kudowa Zdroj. The time was actually quite good - end of may but before holidays and not any extended weekend. Tourists on site was not to many so it was not overcrowded. there some places to visit in the city and some more to go by car or to use local touristic companies. They during the season offer one day trips to Czech sites and Polish also - the best way is to look online or to check during your stay - eventually ask at the property as they usually have some leaflets broshures etc. for me personally Kudowa is the place to stay but to go outside the city for mountain walks, visit Czech Republic and during winter to stay closer to the ski slopes etc.
