Nice modern rooms, large parking area and the best thing is the restaurant. The choice of dishes, wine, beer and their quality are just great. The restaurant was packed with locals on Friday and that speaks for itself. The breakfast was really decent, so everyone of us found something tasty and nice.

Very clean, big room and bathroom, very comfortable shower. Bear in mind hover that this is two-star hotel, so everything is quite basic but also squeaky clean and relatively comfortable. There is a very nice SPA in the basement with dry and steam saunas and a whirlpool, where for a modest 10€ you can unwind after a long day. Breakfast deserves a special mention- great variety, very tasty as mostly homemade and fresh. Great coffee as well.

From the first moment , the hotel charmed us. It has a friendly stuff, romantic atmosphere, deilicious food, live music, clean SPA zone. By walk to center city is 10 minutes and walking by Wisla. Both the city, hotel impressed us a lot. We will definitely go there again.

Beautiful atmospheric small old town with great history. Tour of Zamosc stronghold highly recommended. Also enjoyed town park with great island and peaceful paths. Recommend Wedel chocolaterie in the market square, unique chocolate served. Dined at Zamojska Winiarnia, great choice of local, Polish and Jewish dishes. Beef tartare was a treat. Visited ZOO earlier, although limited number of species but worth visiting.

Chełm is rather a small but so much cozy town! It doesn't have skyscrapers which makes it so pleasant place to stay in. It still has cathedrals and sanctuaries, an old town, and nice community houses. A variety of shops offer groceries and anything else you need. Lots of restaurants are waiting for you in the old town. By the way, that area is walk only.

Nice village with a great big park. Can't stay for too long if you don't want to sit and relax or do the same thing every day. We ended up doing the half-hour-trip to Kazimierz Dolny for three days out of our stay.

I've spent only one night in Hrubieszów.

I've spent only one night in Hrubieszów. And I don't have a chance to walk the streets - only to go through the town and look through the car's window. On my opinion traveler can spend a day or two in Hrubieszów to feel the town's vibes and see it's historical part

Quiet town surrounded by trees/ National Park/Forest. Ideal for all levels - family, young people, older folks! The National Park has different types of walks/paths that are well signposted, there is a Information Point with a mini Nature Reserve for children, I learnt a lot myself there!!! If you are lucky you might meet a Deer on your walk (we did winter time), lots of birds!!! There are lakes and ponds, and a river! In season local people offer a lot of experiences: organised walks, rides, kayaking, cycling, tree climbing and so on. I like to visit out of season to walk around and . In Zwierzyniec you can visit Brewery where you can taste local beer. Lovely place to be if you like walks in the forest!!

The two tourist information centers both just steps away...

The two tourist information centers both just steps away from the Kraków gate (one inside the old town and one just outside) were remarkably helpful and informative. The Holy Trinity Chapel with its priceless early 15th c. Rutheno-Byzantine polychrome frescoes is not to be missed. Nor is the permanent Tamara Lempicka exhibition (with her famous "Self-portrait in a Green Bugatti"), both in Lublin castle. Nor should any thinking/feeling human being fail to experience of the Majdanek concentration camp--allow at least two hours but one could easily take four in order to really allow the enormity of what took place there to sink in and to honor that. Walk the entire camp, do not take a bus through it. Overall, Lublin is a thoroughly entrancing destination, rich in history. Be sure to experience Mandragora, a superb Jewish restaurant on Rynek Square (as if one had been invited into the happier time of a pre-war Jewish home). Anabilis is a great stop for pastry & coffee right next to the Kraków gate.

We were there at the end of October - highly recommended at this time of year, when there is beautiful autumnal scenery and less tourists. It's a paradise for walkers - lots of gorges, hills and trails - within beautiful countryside. Kazimierz Dolny is an historical old town that has a great character, with lots to explore, and an entrancing evening atmosphere.

Zamosc is a gem of a city, although there's not so much to...

Zamosc is a gem of a city, although there's not so much to see there. Basically it's the central square - with a not hugely interesting museum - a pleasant wander through the old town and the synagogue. The restored synagogue is interesting and has presentations about the Jewish history of the city. It's supposed to open at 10.00 am, but it didn't open its doors until after 11.00 the day I was there.
