Hong KongThis was our second stay in this because: The breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and lots of fresh fruits and freshly baked bread is very satisfying. The Blue Room at Seaview Escape is spacious and clean. The location is perfect in a quiet nice area with easy access to the promenade.
The highlight: we were in the midst of the massive nationwide power outage in Portugal. Everywhere was shut down as no electricity and no internet. Everyone is completely cut off from the outside world, it was totally out of this world and seemed living in a movie: gas station closed, cash-only at super market, airport is mayhem and shut down, no restaurants.
Staff in the hotel shared as much information to hotel guests and really showed empathy to us. They went extra mile to put a nicely done barbeque dinner for all hotel guests ensuring we were properly fed. They called it "survival BBQ" but it was far from survival, in fact it was a fantastically properly done bbq dinner with lots of different tasty meats from fish to beef, and various types of grilled healthy vegetable. The breakfast on the next day was as good as their normal days.
Salute to the Hotel Manager Cristovao Silva, all the chefs who worked hard on the bbq and the breakfast, the front desk staff and the concierge! You guys are amazing! I would highly recommend your hotel to my families and friends from Asia!

The hotel is absolutely pet-friendly, which made our stay even more special. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The staff were consistently helpful, professional, and genuinely kind.
One situation really proved the exceptional quality of this hotel: during a major power and communication outage that affected all of Portugal for half a day, the hotel did everything in its power to ensure guest comfort and safety. They managed to keep one elevator working, maintain internet access, and provide assistance to all guests throughout the blackout. This level of preparedness and care is rare — and speaks volumes about the hotel’s standards.
I also had a personal issue when I accidentally broke the lock on my suitcase. The hotel staff went out of their way to help me and resolved the problem quickly and efficiently.
The breakfast is simply perfect — with a wide selection and the option to order freshly prepared dishes to your taste.
And the views… just breathtaking. The ocean view from both the room and the restaurant is absolutely unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a true luxury experience with world-class service, this is the place to stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

But what really made our stay unforgettable was the incredible service – especially from Fransisco, the Guest Relations host. He was exceptional in every way: warm, professional, and always available on WhatsApp. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything ran smoothly and took care of every detail with genuine care.
One of the highlights was that we were celebrating our friend’s birthday during our stay. Fransisco and the hotel staff helped us make it truly special, going out of their way to organize a thoughtful surprise and making her feel celebrated and appreciated. It was such a lovely gesture and far beyond what we expected!
Thanks to Fransisco’s amazing support and the kindness of the staff, we felt truly welcome and taken care of throughout our entire visit. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Inglaterra to anyone visiting the Estoril–Cascais area. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Top quality breakfast.
Very clean
Great location- very close to beach and to train stop going to Lisbon and other popular locations and the coastal walk to Cascais is barely 25-30 minutes.
Proximity to the casino and other restaurants was a great bonus

Oeiras is a suburb of Lisbon, so not overwhelmed by tourists. We found some great places to eat that were appreciative of our custom. There was a fantastic vegan restaurant just outside the town centre (Alma Veg). The main problem for us was the ddual carriageway that passes right by the beaches.

There were two issues that were not quite good.
There were two issues that were not quite good. One, the air conditioning was not working properly; one night it was too cold and the other 6 nights it did not work at all. Secondly, the shower was very slippery. I almost fell and slightly hurt my foot trying to prevent a fall.
Other than that, everything else was extraordinary.

Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.

It's a cosy little apartment, very well situated, with a lovely large patio, garden with swimming pool. However, being at the garden level I was surprised at how dark it was during the daytime. The kitchen and bathroom definitely need an upgrade for the price they are asking. Overall, a comfortable place for a short visit.

bars and cafes,there was a nice small park.I dont go out drinking and I did not have details of any alternative evening activities,except for the excellent 4 evenings of musical entertainment at cascais festival. I ate all my meals at save the world hostels as it was my plan to walk and sight see in the morning take a break at lunchtime and do the same in the afternoon and read my books as well.Pingo Doice supermarket you could
get a cup of coffee and a custard tart in their cafe for 1 euro.At Aldi Supermarket you could buy a packet of Markus Bio ground coffee (exc)

Cascais - very thankful to my colleague, a local from Porto, for recommending I stay at Cascais! It was the best decision, the town felt like home, and was easy access to everywhere! Food was excellent, transportation options perfect, and very walkable! I walked everywhere in the town, and went to Sintra twice via bus from bus depot, with excellent bus service. It felt safe no matter what time of the day or night- and even though there were tourists around, it didn't feel overwhelming like Lisbon or Porto, as there was a sense of peace and belonging! I want to go back again.

All best beaches in Lisbon Subarban are located in Oeiras region. If booked a hotel this region , all the prominent beaches like Carcevelos , Cascais are all reachable in short duration by the Moffusil train. Beach lovers can think staying in Oeiras region . Please note , I found public transport is not much effective or the frequency is very low , lot of time waiting for a bus , and finally have to depend on Taxis most time, that May shell out more expense
