A last minute change allowed me to arrive six hours earlier than planned and as communicated with the hotel, shortly before 12 noon on a Sunday. Long before regular check-in hours. The small hotel was locked. No staff there at noon. I dialed the hotel's phone number, and five minutes later the owner arrived by car to check me in, and I was pampered with good additional service. The hotel and the restaurant are well maintained. Very nice and clean room. Well equipped, including international TV channels. Super WiFi. Breakfast was a la carte, starting at 7 a.m., a choice of five dishes, good and tasty, and so was the coffee. I very much enjoyed my stay.

The atmosphere was pleasant, with welcoming staff. In the courtyard shared with the hotel there is a pizzeria that also serves burgers (they were brilliant). Quiet area, very warm room, in our room there is also an electric heater, probably for times when there are problems with the heating system, which I found very nice to have, but we did not need to use it. Considering that I had the train back at a time when I couldn't serve breakfast, I was asked if they could still prepare my breakfast to take away to serve later on the train. I wasn't expecting this, I was very excited by the idea and thank you for this, it was really delicious.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had breakfast. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

I am impressed by this apartment, as it is better then on the pictures. Very clean, cozy, warm and wonderful apartment. It was my best night, as I slept as a baby. The bed is so soft, that I did not want to get up. Only morning coffee made me to open the eyes. By the way, yes, you can make a fresh coffee, as there is a coffee machine. It 12 from 10. As the owner is so sweet and helps with all questions. Next time I visit Galati once again, I know the best place in the city.

We were happy to choose Jolie apartments: we had spacious rooms with a modern interior design, cozy kitchen,.The place has all necessities we needed, enough light, perfectly clean, the beds were comfy. Before booking we read reviews and I wondered why each review mentions super tasty breakfast. Then we enjoyed the breakfast and yes - it was amazing. My sincere recommendations to choose Hotel Jolie Apartments!

Galati was special, two days was a bit short.

Galati was special, two days was a bit short. - We took an early morning ferry over the Danube and back as foot passengers before breakfast. Fabulous sunrise, nice adventure. - Evening walk along the Faleza with beautiful impressing sculptures from the seventies. - Recommend restaurant Blue Acqua, good athmosphere and delicious fish dishes. Vegetarian options too. 20 minutes walk from the hotel along the Faleza. - We went sightseeing some fascinating abandoned steel industry areas.

The kitchen and bathroom were very dirty and very old.

The kitchen and bathroom were very dirty and very old. No restoration were made for ancient times. Especially the pots and pans and forks and knives were dirty. The toilet brush made me sick instantly (no exaggerating!). The sleeping room includes the refrigerator and the electrical heating system which both turn on and off every few minutes and are very loud. This was very uncomfortable and I couldn't t sleep at night. The location was central, which was good. Close to shops and coffees.

Beautiful city which maybe stayed a bit behind in current Romanian blooming. If you have interest for mid 19th architecture, you will have a nice trip. Eminescu parc is beautiful. People are nice and fervent there. A lot of foreign words, French, English, Italian can be seen on the boutiques. This city has a soul, but also something depressive. It's a nice dual character. The graveyards are as well of some interests. Bus lines are well working. Take care with taxi. Some drivers there are the last remaining cheaters into Romania those days.
