Our room was lovely due to a balcony overlooking the woods. Although there was liveliness in the bar downstairs, upstairs on the balcony there was peace and quiet and we could enjoy being in nature. From the terrace, we had a lovely view while eating our breakfast.

Fantastic hotel with a cozy atmosphere, it's both modern but with a real rustic feeling. We stayed in the Van Gogh room which had lovely decor and design, comfy beds and balcony overlooking the forest. The restaurant served amazing food and even had vegetarian options for my partner, breakfast was equally good. We stayed in January and was treated to beautiful snow scenes (there's a pool table in reception and bowling alley just across the road for entertainment) but hopefully we'll get to come back in the summer for the local attractions!

We had a wonderful stay at Timian Chalet! The chalet is beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with a warm, cozy atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and you can tell that a lot of attention has been given to every little detail. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make you feel at home. The location is quiet and relaxing, yet also a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Miercurea Ciuc. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the common areas, including the terrace, are perfect for spending quality time together. It truly feels like a “home away from home.” We highly recommend Timian Chalet and we are already considering booking a longer stay there.

I liked the that the hotel was quiet and clean. The facilities were well maintained and working during our short weekend stay. There was a large amount of pools and spas and the hotel has a large outdoor area. The staff were polite and there when you needed them and not in your face when you didn’t. Continental breakfast was diverse and enjoyable, there were food options for everyone. I liked their egg omelette, breaded egg and pickles cucumber and red peppers.

It's nice quiet. We got the "Hovirag" house which is the closest to the restaurant. It was clean and cozy. Staff was kind and helpful, they try to help with any problem you have. You will not have the possibility to choose between types of foods but what you get is delicious :) There are 2 parking places you can use, you can pay with card. You may meet with 2 friendly dogs and a cat at the yard.

Wonderful, quiet place. I've slept like a baby and than had a great hike around the lake. You can get to the place on every motorcycle, even cruisers/bobbers, although the road is not paved. Would recommend it to everyone, looking for a nice place surrounded by nature. I haven't used it, but there's a BBQ space, near a stream... I will come back and stay for a few more days in the future!

the location was perfect, we were surrounded by rocks and it’s only 10 minutes walk to the center. Also there is via ferrata Wild Ferencz close to Lacu Rosu / accommodation, but the equipment is hard to find if you don’t have your own. There is a small kitchen as a part of accommodation. There is some basic equipment available, like a pot, plates and a cutlery.

After all day ride with motorcycle this property was exactly what we need. Great location, rooms very clean. Very friendly staff. Pool was perfect! I have asked to wash my clothes and they agree with no extra cost. Really highly recommend this place.

Not a good destination unless you are there for spa...

Not a good destination unless you are there for spa treatment. There is almost nothing else to do except for couple of experiences which usually are not available as there are too few people around. Bear presence is extremely likely which makes hiking impossible.

Small town, it still has a few interesting things, like hockey and ice skating that is one of the sports that is popular in the region. There is also a castle and a pedestrian street with different shops restaurants and cultural houses, I went to a house of music where they had csángó music that was interesting.

Nice little Hungarian town in the heart of Székelyföld. The houses and buildings are well kept, many of them renovated. Nice town center , well maintained town. Pleasant to walk around. You get a real Székelyföld feeling if you go there.

Gheorgheni is a small city, with a fortified church and nice streets, but not more than 3 hours are necessary for visiting it. Even so, it is very well placed, at a reasonable distance from Rosu Lake, Bobsleigh track Lacul Rosu and Bicazului Gorges.

Gorgeous location , famous for its mineral water sources. Not very much to do except walking and drinking water from the fountains. Few shops, but several good restaurants. Perfect place to relax and write one's memories !

Is nice place, nice people, good food, Hotel Praid is in the center of Praid, the breakfast is very good, the staf is very friendly, the rooms are very clean.The restaurant Andrei and Denis is very good food and the staf is very friendly. I recommend this place!

Very nice location, surrounded by mountains and forest, coming from the city you feel like you can really breathe. Very close to main tourist attractions like Sfanta Ana Lake, Balvanyos springs, Miercurea Ciuc. Hanul Secuiesc was a good recommendation for having lunch or dinner and we had a great time at Bowling Pub one evening. The town is not very well maintained, a lot of ruined buildings and quite dirty on some places. Often visited by bears, so you need to be aware, especially after dark.

Nice town, excellent base if you want to make daily tours in the Hargita/Gyergyo region. The museum in the castle is a pearl: not too big, but extraordinarily rich in content, arranged with heart and utmost skill.
