Everything modern and clean. Good breakfast. The staff is magnificent - they waited us until 3 AM (delay at the border) and then allowed us to stay in the room until 2 PM next day - so we could recover. In the morning the lady at the reception helped us to book a tour in the city hall. Free parking available, the city center is 5 minutes by foot.

We liked everything: parking place, comfortable beds and sofa, cleanliness, huge 2-story apartment. That's exactly why we chose to spend the night here again after a week. The house has convenient parking inside the yard. It is located on the shore of a quiet, pleasant lake. The beds are comfortable, the rooms have air conditioners, the hallway between the living room and bedroom floors has discreet lighting. Near the lake there are wonderful restaurants with delicious cuisine.

That place is a dream. Two big jacuzzis and a pool by the beautiful Danube. And A jacuzzi in your room if you booked one of these. You can literally watch the Danube from your jacuzzi inside your room or outside almost above it. So beautiful, especially at sunset or sunrise (you do not see the sun but the light, the birds, …). Also, the staff is so friendly and professional. Thank you so much Radovan, Jean, Vuk, Vesna…you really were all amazing. There is no doubt that this is one of the very best place I have ever stayed for that price. I wish you all the best.

Palić is a beautiful and peaceful place next to the lake. It is convenient for the walk, jogging or maybe light cycling. There are few restaurants around, but not much else of some other content. There is also a great aqua park. If you have a car, the town centre of Subotica is nearby.

I liked this small town because it was more quiet than Belgrade or Novi Sad but you still have some nice places to visit for sightseeing and everything you might need (restaurants, supermarkets, public transport)

Subotica is a beautiful city with stunning architecture and lots of greenery. The fountains and parks make it even more charming. Restaurants are affordable and the food is incredibly tasty. Palić Lake and the nearby zoo are just a short drive away, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. Truly a lovely place to visit!

The city of Sombor has lots of historical buildings.

The city of Sombor has lots of historical buildings. You can take a walk and find friendly places to drink coffee or beer and later take one of famous restoration to eat (at 2024 they have four listed on Gault & Millau). If you have more than one day take a walk in wide parks near the city and visit some sports events.

Palic is beautiful but very small, so its perfect for the 2-day trip since there are not many options for you to visit and explore. Really nice Zoo for kids! The lake and surrounding are really nice and enjoyable, but be aware of mosquitos;

It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult smokes and most cafes don't enforce a non-smoking policy. I unfortunately stayed in the centre of Stari Grad where all the loud bars and clubs are and there is no real legal policy on noise pollution. I honestly don't know how people live here full time. Due to this, I had to stay in a lot of other places on the weekends (+ I also visited Belgrade on occassion). This meant I could (hopefully) get some quality sleep. But having said this, I didn't get to fully explore the city and all it has to offer but the main area of Stari Grad is very nice culturally and a nice place to walk. I also think the river should be more accessible with nice paths alongside it. It's either a main stretch of busy road or once you hit a certain place it's blocked off and you have to pay the beach venue to access it which is a shame.
