AustriaEverything was perfect! Quiet location, very friendly and polite staff, breakfast was delicious as well as food in the restaurant. Bed was very comfortable and houses look exactly like the photos. Kitchen is equiped with everything we needed. Every house has it's own jacuzzi which we enjoyed a lot. We had a small problem during our stay, but the hosts reacted and solved it immediatelly. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

RomaniaI spent wonderful time in Mokra Gora for 2 days and the challet was amazing, very very clean and well equipped for my everyday needs. The host is an amazing lady, willling to hellp and provide best services. Communication is easy with the host and she even hellped me to find a “taxi service “ from a local driver to bring me from Zlatibor to Mokra Gora and to Visegrad 2 days later. I definetely recommend this house.

Everything was perfect. First of all, many thanks and congratulations to our hostess - Dragana. She welcome us very warm and friendly. She is very hospitable and responsive. The house is very comfortable, cozy and interesting decorated. It is close to many sightseeings and places for a walk - Wooden City, the railway, nearby there is also a very interesting eco trail (1800 m.) with the possibility for sport. We will come back again because the place is amazing.

Friendly hosts, showed and told us everything.
The house is clean.
I would like to note how the owners approached the arrangement of the house - the house is made in a traditional national style!
The house displays antique items, you feel like you are in a museum!
It’s very nice when people treat it not just as a business, but put their heart into it.

Feel like a traveler of the early 20th century empire. Wooden furniture, a salon with soft red armchairs. You want five chests with hats and dresses, even if you are a traveler with a backpack. The bathroom is a bit tired, so don't sit there for too long. Walk around, the surroundings are simply fabulous! Very hospitable staff. It was warm and quiet at night. Atmospheric place. I recommend!

The cabin is located in a stunning spot overlooking the valley, offering plenty of privacy. It's clean and well-decorated, and the hosts pay attention to the little things. We've visited Tara multiple times, and this has been our best experience by far. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and hospitable, providing us with tips on what to see and do. Highly recommend this place.

Nice place , really in 3 minutes from train station, cute views on mountains from balconies. Fresh interior. Very hospitable owners ( additional thanks for fresh fruits and rakia - i'm not prefer strong alkohol, but that was amazing). Fit for family, really pet friendly ( even dogs from station come in morning:))

A cozy house with everything you need for comfort. A charming fireplace together with a fresh beautiful renovation create a wonderful atmosphere of peace and enjoyment of time. On the second floor there are additional curtains for a comfortable sleep. The owner is a big-hearted person, we felt like welcome guests.

The nature around is amasing.
The nature around is amasing. You can get there only bu car and driving narrow mountain roads can be a little bit stressful. But overall the national parks are an amazing place to spend a weekend or even a week.
There isn't a lot of places to eat or buy food, so you need to plan ahead. But a lot of accommodation options have kitchecns or grills.

The hosts and the cabin make for the perfect getaway. It was exactly what I hoped for when booking a cabin. I would definitely recommend getting a car, bringing some books and some nice warm clothing. There is plenty of hiking in the area and you are only 20 minutes away from the lake. Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari...
Last time I was at Tara, I was staying at Mitrovac na Tari and I can say I much prefer Kaludjerske Bare. There is more to see, more to walk arround, there are lovely hiking and walking trails called Trim staza and Staza ljubavi near hotel Omorika. You can also drink good coffee in the garden of hotel Javor and eat cheap meals right next to that, in express restaurant.
Unfortunately, for more you will have to travel by car since public transport on Tara is almost non-existing.
But if you are by car, a must-see are ofc Perućac and Zaovine lake, Banjska stena viewpoint, Ladjevac spring, Osluša viewpoint (and drinking coffee at the coffeeshop there with a view), Bilješka stena, waterfall Vrelo, Kruščica, Spajića lake and in the end when heading to Bajina bašta, I reccomend visiting Drina river house and eating in the restaurant Studenac with a view on Drina.

Mitrovac is a small place , we can say heart of the Tara mountain.
It good location for start point for hiking trails to one of the best view point in Serbia - Banjska Stena ( 9 and 9a Trail). Also you can choose trail to Zboriste one of the top point of The Tara. Also is close to the Oslusa and Sokolina where you can find nice view points. Lake Zaovine is also near Mitrovac just ahead from the Mitorvac.
Nic place also for mountain biking.
For family Mitrovac gives quiet place and nice field for kids game, few education trails.

The lake in tara nature preserve , the lake is very nice to swim and to take lake house and u can go to tara mountains 20 mins by car or to another lake zaovine by 40 mins , some fine restaurants around, and people in that part of country super friendly and welcoming

Sekulići is located at 1300 m above sea level.
Sekulići is located at 1300 m above sea level. Surrounded by forest and beautiful nature, it is an ideal place for walking or cycling. Just a few kilometers away is Zaovisnko jezero, Mitrovac, Bajna bašta and Drvengrad of world-famous movie director Emir Kusturica.

Kremna as a village has not much to offer, but Tara National Park and its surroundings are exquisite. If you want to explore Visegrad, the national park, the different viewpoints, lakes and rivers, Kremna is a good place to stay. There are 3 small, but effective grocery stores on the "main" street, there are 2-3 restaurants, and you have some cocks waking you up in the morning. If you crave for a good Slavic village vibe, you can have it in Kremna!

There is everything you need for rest - coziness and beautiful views. For a small family, just what is needed. No need to worry about food. There is a restaurant "Tarsko jezero" nearby, which has everything to satisfy all members of the family who are hungry after visiting Tara National Park.

The town is charming with small houses and trees. There is an atmosphere of easy living in the various cafes located in the central park and along the main street. Only a short way from the town, sceneries in the river Drina valley and Tara mountains are magnificent. A specialty is so called lake houses, many of them available for lodging.
