- From US$212.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 571 reviewsThe check-in was friendly and fast. The room and view was awesome! Such a great view! The breakfast was so luxurious and we talked to a staff member, a young girl, she had been in Sweden a few years. Her hospitality and friendliness was to a 10✨. We will definitely recommend this hotel and we want to go back! I think we came at a day where the roof top bar was closed but then we headed out in Piteå and had a lovely evening. Definately a hotel and town we’re revisiting!Guest review byJanni ErikaDenmark
- From US$100.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.2Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 1,539 reviewsExcellent location for shopping, food and public transport. Absolutely astounded the hairdryer in the room came with a diffuser - the rarest thing I've ever seen. Bathroom was typical and highly functional, plenty of storage. Room was very clean and serviced daily. Excellent breakfast, loved being able to make food in the upstairs kitchen, nice lounge/breakfast area, free extensive variety of tea and self-select coffee machine.Guest review bySiobhanUnited Kingdom

It's perfect for Aurora acctivities. The room was very cozy, I stayed in a 2 bed room in the hotel part, the breakfast and lunch/dinner services were very good too. There is a small market inside as well where you can buy things like frozen food and drinks as well as renting equipment for the snow.Guest review byBelenArgentina

Superb restaurant - dinner was sensational and the breakfast was nice also. Their spa is also nice but you need to book it in advance and pay extra, but it is worth it! It was our last day in the North, in Kiruna, and that night we saw a full sky aurora right from the hotel, it was stunning! I recommend Camp Ripan 100%, really really nice!!!Guest review bySergiuMoldova

Umeå is a hidden gem in northern Sweden, offering a unique blend of vibrant culture, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. My visit to Umeå left me thoroughly impressed with both the city and its people. The city itself is a harmonious mix of modernity and tradition. Umeå is known for its thriving arts scene, and it certainly lives up to its reputation as a European Capital of Culture. Nature lovers will find Umeå a paradise, with its close proximity to lush forests, serene rivers, and the stunning coastline of the Gulf of Bothnia. The city is designed with nature in mind, with plenty of parks and green spaces to explore. The Ume River, which runs through the city, provides picturesque views and is perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride. But what truly makes Umeå special are its people. The residents of Umeå are some of the friendliest and most welcoming individuals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Despite the city’s northern location, the warmth of its people is palpable. Whether asking for directions, recommendations, or just striking up a casual conversation, the locals are always eager to help with a genuine smile. There’s a strong sense of community in Umeå, and it’s easy to feel at home even if you’re just visiting.Guest review byAlejandraUnited States - 10.0

Kiruna is the northernmost city in Sweden, located above the Arctic Circle in the heart of Swedish Lapland. Known for its stunning natural beauty, Kiruna offers a unique combination of wilderness, culture, and science. In winter, the city transforms into a magical wonderland, featuring snow-covered landscapes, the spectacular Northern Lights, and opportunities for dog sledding, snowmobiling, and visiting the renowned Ice Hotel in nearby Jukkasjärvi. In summer, the Midnight Sun shines for weeks, allowing endless outdoor adventures like hiking in the nearby Abisko National Park. Kiruna is also known for its fascinating historyGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Clean and comfortable place.
Clean and comfortable place. Visited "Old town" now for first time and it was nice. Cafeterias were not open, but nice old houses and beautiful church really worth visiting. In Luleå shops are closing very early on Saturday and are closed on Sunday, it would be nice to do shopping longer. On Saturdays difficult to get table reservations to some restaurants, you might wan't to plan your dinner in advance and do booking before trip.Guest review byHenriFinland - 6.0
Skellefteå is a town with an intriguing history.
Skellefteå is a town with an intriguing history. A pretty town on the banks of a large river. The view across the river of the beautiful main church has been obscured by an ugly multi-story parking garage. Who thought up that damaging action? The town is currently in the grips of street optimization. The narrowing of the main East-West street, is questionable and will soon cause traffic congestion. The station is still in place, but no rail traffic goes there apart from goods !! The infrastructure around the railway and station needs to be optimized and take advantage of the existence of a rail link to the rest of Sweden and the outside World.Guest review byNealSweden - 10.0

I have been here eleven times, which must show that I like it very much. I have been here summer and winter as well. I mostly hike to Lapporten and Trollsjoen. On the other hand, I am not a fan of Kungsleden, which for me is a motorway for pedestrians.Guest review byJean-PaulDenmark - 10.0

We stayed overnight, on our way back to Finland from Norway. This was a main city on the highway. You can easily find anything you need and road connections are also good. In Sweden, to my surprise, staying in remote locations can be tricky sometimes.Guest review byMuhammad SaadFinland - 6.0

Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly interesting for holiday takers but it provides good transport options to several of the national parks in the region. It is possible to make some nice walks in the immediate vicinity of the town but these alone are not a reason to travel there.Guest review byJohanBelgium - 10.0

The lakeside location was idyllic We travelled to the accommodation on a short snowmobile ride through the forest. The northern lights were visible for two nights of our short stay. Jokkmokk is surrounded by beautiful scenery, lakes, rolling hills, forest. You sometimes pass reindeer on the roads. I was there to participate in a long ski race and everyone I met in Jokkmokk was keen to help.Guest review byGerardUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Kiruna is a beautiful place with extraordinary winterscapes during the day and even more so on a moonlight night.. The cherry in the top was the extraordinary experience of being blessed by aurora corona and aurora borealis sighting every night we were there .. More over the museum explaining sami culture and giving us sn opportunity to be amongst reindeer was so soulful.. the extraordinary sculptures of ice and snow at the ice hotel , their classic warming drink in ice glasses was something else .. needless to say , it is a ‘must experience ‘ place.Guest review byEbrahim ShakilSweden
