The room is EXTRA : Clean, well equiped, beautiful and calm, don't worry about the noise ! There is none !
The breakfast ? Fabulous, local products, I can only recommand to try their Peppadew which are delicious ! And the breads ! Wow ! The woman who bring us our coffee and plates (very smiling and she was blond with short hair, is such a kind person)

United KingdomI was interested in visiting Slovenj Gradec for its museums, hikes and cycle rides, and when I spotted the Hiska I knew I would come this year for sure! It was in a perfect location - a quiet spot in the woods behind the Bimar organic farm, but 500 metres from the middle of town with restaurants and shops. We hired bikes (from the owners of the Hiska - all very convenient) and cycled the Strekna route to Velenje (perfect; no traffic) and also hiked in the hills, and when we came home we could relax in the hot tub or take a sauna, or simply sit in the hammock and look at the views.
Jurij and his fmaily attended to our every need, providing so much food for breakfast (egg, sausage, cheese, meat, yoghurt, cake, delicious bread) that one night we even had some of the eggs and sausages for dinner as well. There were also numerous different aperitifs waiting in the fridge!

Beautiful farm surrounded by nature close to Jamnica bike trails. This place is absolutely peaceful and very well kept. We had an amazing view of the surrounding forests and we were lucky enough to observe deer everyday from our balcony. There are multiple places for children to play - swings, playground with sand, slide - everything you need to keep the little ones happy. Our spacious apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Kitchen came with all the tools you need, everything you can think of was included. Bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. Plenty of towels and hand made soap was provided. Wifi was working really well. Storage room for bicycles is available. Our host Martina was very kind and welcoming. She was very prompt in responding to all our messages and requests. I highly recommend ordering breakfast - huge variety and big portions of local products, everything we had was super tasty. Martina is an excellent cook and the dinners she prepared for us were fantastic. You can also order bread baked by Martina, which I highly recommend. Our whole stay was amazing and we did not want to leave. If you are looking for a very clean, well equipped apartment with peaceful atmosphere and a lovely host, look no further. We will definitely come back, it felt like vacation in paradise.

So lovely to wake up with sounds of sheep/lambs, birds and cookoos.
What we loved the most was breakfast and diner. Incredible food, tasty and everything selfmade from own produce. Maybe not the best place for vegans/vegetarians.
Some good walks in the area.

Great location. Nice rooms. Very friendly Ladies on the Reception/Bar! We were travelling from a far distance and we were assured that our late arrival will not be a problem at all. They communicate back quickly and we were feeling well looked after.

Spectacular view from the apatment.Perfect choice if you want to escape from the noise and people. You can hike nearby, no need to go anywhere by car. Your dogs are welcome. Lenart is very kind and live next to the apartment.

Very small but lovely town.
Very small but lovely town. Came here for the surrounding hills, mountains, and forests, so we got what we wanted. On the negative side: restaurants. They were fine but we couldn't find Slovenian cuisine. I can eat Neapolitan pizza or American BBQ anywhere in the world but here we found the first real authentic restaurant offering proper Slovene mushroom soup, local dishes, and pear-filled dumplings in Sentanel (Gostisce Marin - Miler - Awesome, 10/10! - you should book in advance, the village is so small they don't run an open kitchen)

However, the room service was poor (no room service during our stay), and the person handling the rooms worked at very odd hours. We didn’t receive new towels, so I had to ask a waitress, who brought us some. They should not raise the prices before they solve room service and breakfasts.
The breakfasts were not to our taste—there weren’t enough vegetables, and there was too much white bread.
Shops were close and good enough.
Tip: There’s a more affordable restaurant at the end of Prevalje village that offers good food. (good Burgers, good pizzas, just dont try Rice) The waitress there is exceptionally attentive and provides excellent service, making the experience even more enjoyable. (check the Photos below for burgers)
This place is quite close to the epic bike park Petzen.
Traveling to the rest of the Slovenia is quite demanding from here.

We stayed here for one night. It was amazing!
We stayed here for one night. It was amazing! The house is newly renovated and it is a combination between modern and old. The kids had a lot of room to explore the surroundings of the house. The host was very very friendly and helped us a lot. He went above and beyond for us to feel welcome and have a great time there. He even got us ice cream, because ours melted :D

My husband and I recently had the most incredible time at this place. I cannot express how wonderful our experience was!
Firstly, the owner, Peter, is an absolute gem. His kindness and gentleness added a personal touch that made our stay truly special. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
The food at the hotel is nothing short of AMAZING! Each dish was a delightful culinary experience, and the variety on the menu exceeded our expectations.
Moreover, the level of cleanliness and comfort at the hotel is exceptional. Every corner was immaculate, and the cozy atmosphere made it a pleasure to come back to our room after a day of exploration.
Our stay at this Boutique Hotel was, without a doubt, the best time ever. We're already planning our next visit to Slovenia and eagerly anticipating the warm hospitality, delicious food, and the overall wonderful experience.
