Tourist farm Zavratnik is absolutely gorgeous. I loved every aspect of it. Owners are super nice! They treated us like kings. Everything we asked (instructions for mountaineering, hiking and attractions) was explained exceptionally from them. Breakfast was delicious! An absolute must. They even made us some fresh scrambled eggs. The view from the farm was gorgeous and everything was super clean. Room was clean, retro and we had two balconies.

It was a great stay!
We are extremely satisfied with our choice: an incredible area, very picturesque views, wonderful hosts, it was comfortable and pleasant to stay there. The territory is secluded - you are left alone with nature)
We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the evening.
Be sure to order local dairy products through the owners - they are extremely tasty. Highly recommend this chalet.

Very thoughtful and friendly host and her family. Provided clear instructions and gave tips to visit the surroundings with the family. Kids enjoyed the idyllic playground on the property (with a little zip line and cute ducks) by the river. Fabolous Slovenian breakfast. Comfy beds, clean rooms. We highly recommend it and will definitively come back!

For us the place was perfect. The accomodation is located in a quiet part of a small village in a quiet and peaceful location. The host is friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and cosy. You can also hear the cows as they live next door - just like what you would expect from a farm. The place also offers a big portion of breakfast.

Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Get a taste for homemade juice and coockie. The house is wonderful and full of elaborate details. The apartment is clean spacious and with a good kitchen. Great location to go road trip via panoramic road to Logar Valley.

Nice, clean apartment in a good location for hiking to Robanov Kot or nearby hills and not far away from Logarska dolina. Do not choose this apartment if you cannot live without wi-fi or LTE signal😁.

Great walks up the three valleys that are close bye. We had coffee in the information centre in Solcava - staff were excellent. Did the scenic road looking down over the valleys - well worth the drive up and down.

The area is beautiful and hiking and biking is great.
The area is beautiful and hiking and biking is great. The grocery stores are severly lacking on fresh proteins. We cook alot and didn't like having to purchase plastic coated packaged meats. A decent butcher and pharmacy were at least 30 minutes away.

An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. A bike or electric bike that can be rented is the most convenient means of transportation here.

The best appartment we’ve stayed in Slovenia. We’ve stayed in 4. Very spacious, impeccable cleanliness, equipment, cutlery, furniture. Absolutely enjoyable experience. The host is super nice. Totally recommendable.

Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.
