this is one of the most spectacularly beautiful hotels I have ever visited. the timber exterior and interiors are beautiful. the staff are super smart, helpful, direct and honest, and the quality of the restaurant was excellent

Wow, the rating on booking definitely corresponds to the overall experience. I must say the hosts are incredibly welcoming, the rooms are cosy and the spa is great - one big sauna with a view, cold plunge tub, jacuzzi. At the breakfast there were many milk alternatives, which was great for us who are lactose intolerant. We are definitely coming back.

Lived the room - very cozy, with a lovely alcove. All kinds of little details, like fresh cookies on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and staff is very attentive. We appreciated that the breakfast was not the standard breakfast you get at hotels - it was varied, interesting and very tasty. Lots of alternatives for vegetarians, vegans, etc. Access to the sauna at the aquapark across the street was nice - easy to go there, we enjoyed the sauna. Sound isolation of room was great, parking was free and easy. This place is the perfect getaway around Bohinj, highly recommende!

The breakfasts are all excellent. The dinner at Villa Muhr was outstanding, and the one at Hotel Bohinj was very good too.

What a lovely hotel. Everything was a little bit 'up market' so made us feel special staying here. Our rate included dinner & breakfast and both were great. Then dinner was classy and delicious, the waiting staff wonderful. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, really good thank you. The room was comfortable, good bed. All staff were very helpful, great service.

This hotel is in the perfect location, right by the lake but away from the road. It was perfect for our family and we felt very safe here. We spent several days walking around the lake and having the most fun enjoying this beautiful area. We ate in the restaurant on 2 of the evenings we were there and had the loveliest meals. The staff were so friendly and kind. We also had breakfast included which was excellent. The room was nice and warm and cosy. This was also one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever seen. It was spotless inside and out which was just amazing. Even the little courtyard was super clean. Our kids are already asking when we will come back so we will have to begin planning our next stay.

Surely the low season does not help a wonderful place like Lake Bohimj, but it is certain that we have found a lot of kindness. Referring to the hotel, a very beautiful structure, certainly worth taking care of some details, but they are small things. Instead, we want to thank all the hotel staff for their exceptional kindness, courtesy and availability. We could only have dinner, but it was amazing, especially the latter. Great staff, great structure, we will bring a nice memory with us. Thanks again.
