The staff recommended hikes for me to do and even prepared my breakfast the night before so I could wake up very early (before breakfast times). The room was very clean and spacious, plus I had a balcony with a beautiful view. They also have a restaurant which serves really good food for a very reasonable price while you can sit in the garden with views on the mountains. The lake and a grocery shop are also only a few minutes walking away.

Very helpful & friendly receptionists. On check in, we were advised of a voucher to attend the aqua centre for 3 hours, so a very relaxing time was enjoyed at the sauna facilities, also very clean! A dinner buffet at a very reasonable price was available; however we opted for a cosier small local spot in the village which was perfect. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL chalet. We were lucky to get A1, with a separate bedroom upstairs. Amazing view of the mountain, super comfortable bed and couch. Fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Great little coffee machine. Well located for vogel ski resort (walkable, about 800m) and very near hiking trails.
Cannot speak highly enough of friendliness and communication of the host.
Extremely good value for money. Perfect for a family, or honeymoon destination. The Valley is unbelievably beautiful, and Aplik is so perfectly located for a getaway. We would love to return in the summer.

It was perfectly situated, very close to lake and beautiful village. We enjoyed room view. Room was well equiped with small kitchen. Staff was very nice. I loved cappucino for breakfast, whole breakfast were delicious. I also like how hotel was dog friendly. We fell in love with Bohinj and this hotel was part of it. I recomend

The hotel has its own restaurant with fantastic domestic and well prepared food. The staff was very friendly, always available for everything you need. Apartment was on the ground floor, with terrace and has everything you need for short or long stay-ideal for couples. Free of charge parking is available in front of the hotel.

Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils and appliances (even has a dishwasher, which was an unexpected bonus). The location is excellent. A short walk from the lake, a market and a great hamburger restaurant. Recommended!

This was a wonderful place for us to stay during our ride across Slovenia— they made space for our bikes and the garage . The room decor had a very alpine feel - back to nature.
The restaurant attached to the property was lovely - recommend the tuna salad and breaded trout. And the half-dry white wine!

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...
We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of food and a great variety. The food was really delicious. We truly enjoyed the accommodation, and the hotel owner was lovely, helping us with every question and everything we needed. We got caught in the snow in the mountains, and the hotel owner drove us in his own car – it was so kind and definitely not something to be taken for granted. I highly recommend this place ☺️

The town of Bohinjska Bistrica didn't impress us but the Bohinj lake a few kilometers away is the main attraction anyway and it is beautiful. There is a nice cyclepath from Bohinjska Bistrica to the lake with a few steep parts and soon the whole cyclepath from lake Bled to Bohinj will be completed. There are also some other routes around Bohinjska Bistrica but the area might be a bit constricted for serious cyclists. In July and August there is too much traffic for serious road cycling if you don't like a lot of traffic but we were told that from September it is much more quiet.

Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled lakes. Quiet area but in the morning we heard some cars from distant route and also train once per day. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We got free pack of local eggs on arrive.
We were living in upper floor. The accommodation had everything we need for nice stay. The beds are a bit hard and noisy. Also I would add nets on the windows because there is no AC and opening window at night time might cause problems with mosquitos.

For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water...
For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water activities, nature wonders, local traditions, kind people, nice beaches, swimming, and on top would like to experiment flying like birds (paragliding) ! Do not hesitate, come visit Bohinj. And plan to stay long to enjoy all what it offers.
