A very good location in the very center, right on the beach. We'll also see beach loungers and rooms. A room overlooking the pools is great, unless you don't like loud music late at night, but the views are spectacular. You can lie in your room and see everything. If you're looking for a more relaxing place, this hotel is perfect for you. There are some minor shortcomings, such as no ironing board or iron, but that's probably because it's only a three-star hotel. There's no hot water in the bathroom sink, so shaving is difficult, but everything is acceptable. The cleanliness and room service are all good.

Great hotel, everything is new and very clean, youthful decoration. I really enjoyed staying here. The common area next to the beach is nice to have. I also loved that they offer beach towels! It’s lovely that they have a kayac and offer it for free for 30 minutes.

We absolutely loved our stay from the first second on. The check in was really professional and fast. When we arrived the room was very clean and well prepared for us. I loved the design of the room. The breakfast was really good, I am a total breakfast person so during all our stay I tried so many delicious options. We also tried the restaurant for lunch and dinner and really liked it. The beach area was amazing, always clean and they have very comfy sun beds. And the final and absolutely best part of the stay was the stuff of the hotel. The stuff was so kind, respectful and helpful, they always called us by our names and took care of us so well. especially I will never forget Miss Tik, she is just such a good and positive person that totally loves her job, I really hope to meet her again in my life. we were really sad when our time was over. they are renovating some of the rooms right now, we didn’t hear any noise to be honest, all of that was handled really professional and it’s nice to see that after the Covid crises the hotel finally can continue with its work. My boyfriend and me definitely don’t understand the criticism of some other guests ( I mean everyone is different sure) but they are really doing everything to improve and we should not forget that the past 3 years were quite hard for the hotel industry. we really can’t wait to come back! thank you for everything.

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of magical! The moment I stepped onto the property, I felt like I had entered paradise. The surroundings were breathtaking and created an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility. However, what really made my stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and collaborative. They made sure that all my needs were met and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The restaurant in the hotel is hands down the best in the area, with delicious food and impeccable service. I especially appreciated the gentle and kind waiter who served me during breakfast. Every single thing was great while we were in there. Staff was excellent since the check-in, giving us an upgrade (we made 3 bookings for 3 different days) for day 2, letting us to be in the big room we booked for the 1st day. Besides that, they created a very good environment for the team. Every single one smiles every time, even when they are not facing customers. When we got back for 3rd day we got a welcome back greeting in our bed, so lovely. Breakfast was excellent, with a big variety of food. Installations were impressive, with access to the beach, restaurant at the beach and pool. Rooms were big and with great beach views.

I read a lot of reviews about the amazing beaches of Koh Samui. I tried many of them and I can tell with confidence that Chaweng was the best by miles. I was based in Chaweng and I though to check the other beaches. I walked all over Lamai, which is very panoramic, but there is a constant stink wherever you go and the beach inside has a lot of corals/rocks that will probably hurt your feet. Crystal Bay was tiny, not comfortable because of the corals and overcrowded. I didnt see Fisherman Village beach while the others on the east side looked dirty. Choose Chaweng

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I am astounded that more British people, especially families...

I am astounded that more British people, especially families, don't take family holidays in Chaweng. It has everything, and it is so cheap compared to Spain or the Caribbean. I think maybe people think Thailand isn't safe? Nonsense, if so. It feels like the safest place I've ever been.

I wouldn't go back. I was so disappointed by Koh Samui, I thought it was a nice place to go but aside from beautiful beaches and the views from the mountains, its really rough and run down. Chaweng itself is like Magaluf. The strip is awful. But if you like that then you'd probably like it but not being a drinker or a partier I really hated it. We did however eat at some really great restaurants all over Koh Samui

I have been to 4 Thai seaside resorts so I know a little about them. Koh Samui seems to lack a spirit of 'self' - the tours available go to natural sites which are average. And expensive. I didn't see any cultural tours. I saw hundreds of massage parlours, weed shops, and cafes. The whole place seems to be a fisherman's village that has been pumped up by advertising and wasn't really ready for it. I would really avoid this place in the high season. On the other hand if you just want to sit in a resort next to a beach and eat and drink, this could be for you. Long way to go though...

We were here in January-February during peak season and it was perfect! Never too crowded and never too empty. Perfect in my experience, I would come back. I did not prefer nor enjoy Lamai beach (supposed to be better, but I disagree).
