“We had a wonderful experience at this resort! The location is perfect, with beachfront restaurants and shops nearby. The beach itself is beautiful, and the resort is exceptionally clean. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. A special thank you to Chris, who helped us change our room when we had an issue with the air conditioning—they did everything possible to solve the problem. Everything was spotless, and the whole place felt like a true oasis of relaxation. Highly recommended!”

Super new, modern and stylish. All staff were very kind and helpful. Special shout out to reception and SPA (which was top notch btw). The room was very nice, quiet and spacious (comfy beds). Breakfast excellent - with so much choice! We loved that it’s new and not too many people have discovered this place yet! We have extended our stay in this resort :-)

Our family apartment was amazing! Big and very comfy, with direct pool access. There are a lot of activities for children and adults! A magician is around the place all the time, a coconut boat going through Asia’s longest pool, they offer bikes, excursions and a lot more. So nice!

By far my best stay in Thailand, the couple that runs it are both adorable and went above and beyond to make my stay amazing ! I even booked an extra night because I loved it so much. The room is incredibly spacious and bright, everything is SPOTLESS !!! The bathroom is big, the hot water is nice and regular and not a single sign of mold anywhere (which in my experience is rare in Thailand). The bed is comfortable and the ac is nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious! Great view from the balcony where I admired a nice sunset. The cleaning lady is also very friendly even going as to arrange the toiletries I left on the counter. Great location just off the main road so quiet but still close enough to make getting around super easy. Close to a 7-11 for some midnight snacks ;)

Everything here was perfect. Right from the host to rooms to the location to food and the hospitality of the hosts. The host there named Por was very very good. She made sure that all our needs are fulfilled and she made our stay very comfortable in khao lak. She helped us in everything from arranging good food for us specially we being pure vegetarian. The property provides free bicycles to go to nearby beach which is khuk khaak. The beach is just 3-5 minutes by bicycle. They also provide bikes on rent. Their breakfast is very very good and have lots of varieties. Por specially arranged vegetarian food in breakfast for us. Por even guided us where to go, which beaches are the best one's to visit. They also help you with arranging the best island tours. Now lets talk about the property. One of the best property in khao lak. The property has a good swimming pool, greenary all around, mountains on one side. The rooms are much bigger and spacious and very clean, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and very clean. You get to hear nature calls in the morning, you dont need an alarm clock there are very sweet hens giving wake up call which feels very soothing in the morning and cheerful. We had a lovely time here in this resort i would recommend this property for staying if you are in khao lak. All the staff people including the host are very good. You get good food here, cutlery is provided whenever required. Best highlight of the place is the free bicycles they provide to visit nearby places. The property is very well located, nearby there are many beaches. Must visit place when in khao lak!!!

The staff were awesome, Jo, Fang, Jib and Ton took exceptional care of us. The were very accommodating. Helped us find our way around to several local attractions. It is literally 50 meters from the beach, great sandy beach. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Mai Khao Lak is simply fabulous—there’s no other way to put it! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by this beautiful resort. While it is a bit removed from central Khao Lak, the feeling of isolation is far from a downside. It’s a peaceful retreat, and with central Khao Lak only a short 15-minute ride away, the resort’s shuttle service makes it easy to stay connected (just remember to book your spot in advance). Despite the resort's large size, it remains quiet and uncrowded. Each block is designed with its own spacious pool, so you’ll never feel like you’re competing for space. The variety of on-site restaurants is a highlight, offering a wide selection of dishes to cater to every taste. The buffet breakfast is great for adults but even better for kids offering heaps of kid-friendly options. There's local dining along the beach. These spots serve up delicious, authentic food, and you’ll also find laundry services at an affordable 80 Baht per kilo. Massages also available. We had 2ad, 3ch and booked two rooms: one pool access room and one deluxe room. The resort did an excellent job of accommodating our request to have the rooms close together. The pool access room great, with direct access to the pool from the small decked seated area outside the room. There are also adult only areas with poolside bars and secluded, quiet areas. The staff at Mai Khao Lak are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, they made our stay effortless and enjoyable, their customer service 5 stars! We initially thought khao lak was too quiet, however there is so much to do if you research your trip. we found Facebook groups helpful for ideas, recommendations, and even booking private drivers. This made exploring the area easy and stress-free. Overall, Mai Khao Lak is a perfect getaway for families or couples seeking a peaceful, luxurious retreat with plenty of amenities and activities. Our experience was excellent, and we would happily stay here again!

A hotel paradise, beautiful gardens, multiple pools right next to the rooms or the sea shore. Superb, varied breakfast, extra strong expresso coffee. There's a lot to say... everything is perfect and I totally recommend this exotic location. We appreciate the surprise we received, receiving a cake and singing "Happy Birthday" by the terrace staff on the occasion of my daughter's birthday. Just a few steps away you can find several terraces, currency exchange, massage salon, with acceptable prices. Don't miss the trips to the islands and rafting on a flowing water in the middle of the jungle and elephants.

We loved the stay in this hotel. It is not new or moder, but we have chosen it because of exotic exterier and location. The surroundings are really nice. Location of the hotel is also good, just few meters from the sea. Employees are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean. Breakfast are good too. We also attend in Thai cooking class and we loved it! We reccomend this attraction for everyone.

Trips to the islands are a must Ko lak is a cut above Phuket more refined better restaurants excellent choice of hotels and all in all nicer people No gangs of young Indian lads it was a joy to return to the old Thailand

This is the place to be if youn want to experience the awesome scuba diving in that area. Khao lak is a quiet laid back little town. You can walk to some of the beaches and they are nice. plenty of restaurants and shops. Not super touristy or loud.
