Super new, modern and stylish. All staff were very kind and helpful. Special shout out to reception and SPA (which was top notch btw). The room was very nice, quiet and spacious (comfy beds). Breakfast excellent - with so much choice! We loved that it’s new and not too many people have discovered this place yet! We have extended our stay in this resort :-)

The hotel is well equipped, relaxing design in natural materials. It is located away from noise and is full of well planted greenery. We have chosen it for its design and location and the hotel was totally up to our expectations. The food was great. Many thanks to the cooks' skills. Loved it. The staff was freindly and helpful. The issue with hot water in the first day was fixed very quickly, once and for all. We loved the bath on the balcony and used it for evening relaxation. The hotel application that we were asked to install upon arrival was useful for in-room food and announcements. The swimming pool was warm and had plenty of space for everbody. Every morning we went to the hotel's private beach to bath, walk and have some sun tan. It's tidy and has a small bar. There are tiny shops nearby to get alcohol at a cheaper price, some snacks and necessities. The card didn"t always work in this shops so had to pay cash. Shuttle bus to the nearest market was a good idea. We would be glad to come baxk some day.

Great staff, good to great breakfasts, with enough food assortment to satisfy the kids. Bicycles for free to move around, shuttles to Khao Lak from 10.00 to 16.00 and back from 10.30 to 16.30. Pools and a mini aquapark across the premises to enjoy when the sea is too wavy. No limitations on what you can bring and consume in terms of food/beverages. A good example of staff/management kindness was a case where both shuttle buses for 11.00 were full booked, yet I was granted a shuttle to buy some mangosteens and beers at our last day. Basically, no complaints about the staff, food (breakfasts only since the low season), or spirit of the place - reasonable, clean, comfortable, kind, safe, calm. Recommended for fams with kids.

Beautiful hotel, with incredibly attentive staff. Without us even asking, they gave us a room just by the pool, so it would be comfortable for our kids to enjoy! They also provided a baby cot with a pink covers as they understood we have a baby girl, who was obviously so happy! The breakfast is great and an Italian restaurant that is within the hotel has a delicious spaghetti alle vongole and pizza. If we ever come back to Khao Lak, we know where we will be staying! Great location also for a walk with a lot of shops and restaurants around; beautiful beach instead is not even 10min walk.

Fantastic stay at Ayara Villas for our family of 4 (1 toddler and 1 baby). The hotel was so clean and staff were wonderful. There to help with anything you need. Breakfast was delicious and fantastic selection with both western and Thai choices (with real bacon too). Room was modern, clean and big. The maid did a great job everyday cleaning the room. Such a wonderful stay and can only recommend the stay. The hotel was a little bit of a walk from the centre but we knew this. It suited us just fine.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for, my partner and I loved the big ocean view. The trees here grow on their own, making it feel more wild and real compared to other hotels in Khao Lak where everything is trimmed and neat. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was friendly. All of this for a great price! Also, there are lots of sweet cats on the property😻 I would definitely recommend this place, and come back here myself one day.

This hotel and its staff was absolutely fantastic. The room was lovely and spacious for a family of four and the beds were extremely comfortable. The room was quiet with great air con. Had everything you need. Kettle tea coffee etc. and the bathroom was fully stocked. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Free loungers at the beach for hotel guests. The pool was also lovely. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We loved the stay in this hotel. It is not new or moder, but we have chosen it because of exotic exterier and location. The surroundings are really nice. Location of the hotel is also good, just few meters from the sea. Employees are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean. Breakfast are good too. Love the quietness of the area, yes remote but suits us perfectly and there are taxis and tut tus outside hotel to take you wherever you want. The hotel is perfect for a quit vacation. In the hotel's street there are some restaurants, shops and pharmacies. They work until very late at night. The room was very nice, access to one of the pools. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the room and the facilities but not enough. That's a good reason to come back again soon!

I recommend this hotel, especially the room with its own entrance to the pool. Everything is clean, the grounds are well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Nice village feel. perfect if you want proximity but a bit of quiet without the overan tourist hustle and bustle of patong etc. Id recommend for couples , singles wanting to chillout. Its not a party place-no nightclubs and that is its appeal to me

Lots to do in this area and easier to manage logistics...

Lots to do in this area and easier to manage logistics compared to Phuket. We missed the Similans due to weather. Khao Sok national park is a must see though. We also did hot springs - the posh hotel and thought it was v good. Market was much better than Bangkok and Phuket. Highly recommend dinner at the Fat Shark.
