Beautiful place on Kai Bae! Changed so many accomodation all over SE Asia and this is definitely one of the best! Hosts are so attentive and you really feel surrounded by such a positive energy. Excellent coffee and breakfast. Beach is couple of min walk... Suggest to walk by road til Cliff resort.. There is the best beach, sunbeds and lots of shade. Nice beach with no rocks. lots of restaurants, massage, 7elevent, etc... Close by. Will come back.

I loved this place so much. Driving the last 200 meters up to Alisa’s from the main tarmac road brought you through local area with hens, children and lastly at the very end of the road to the garden of Eden, that Alisa and her husbond David had created with outmost care and imminent taste for beauty and tranquility. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in, besides my own back home. The peacefulness at Alisa’s was only enhanced by the occasional hens, hornbills and other birds, but besides these natural sounds, Alisa was quiet and totally peaceful. Now with WiFi, possible to rent their scooter, they can arrange all kinds of tickets, including shuttle to Bangkok or the airport with pickup directly at Alisa’s. I visited all the beaches at Koh Chang, and besides Klong Kloi at the very south, then Kai Bai beach had a secluded and intimate charm, that the other beaches could not match. Watching the bathing elephants in the morning was an experience of delight, seeing how much these great creates enjoyed the refreshment. Alisa’s is totally new and not only spotless, but also in very delicate and soothing colors. David and Alisa kept a discretion to my second daily visitors, and always made sure to be indoor when I came home accompanied. The only minor little inconvenience, is that I had to drive 3-4 minutes in the morning to reach Kai Bai beach for a morning swim, but the reward was instant, almost entirely alone on this beautiful beach with its tranquil and warm water.

If you are only coming to Koh Chang for one thing, you should come to stay a night at Drifters Anchor. The views are clearly the best we have had anywhere on the island. Watching the sunset from your balcony while having an amazing meal is nothing short of spectacular. Last but not least Ben is the friendliest host you can think of, he even accompanied us to an awesome night out. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful location, overlooking the water, Peaceful swimming was lovely but be aware no sand, only rocks, so entry can be tricky but worth it. Staff were excellent, as was the owner, were always available to assist. If you are in this vicinity do visit Everflow cafe - wonderful food and juices

The best pool with the best view in the whole of Koh Chang. The staff are amazingly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your holiday is enjoyable. The resort is very relaxing and perfect for couples who want a piece of paradise. The evenings are very quiet but it's only a short taxi journey should you want some night life. After which you can return and truly relax with just the noise of the waves gently lapping on the beach. Food is very good with a selection of western dishes as well as many exciting Thai choices. But ultimately The Bhuvarin resort is made special by the team that works there. They really have got it right. I can't describe exactly what I mean but there's no mistaking their true wish to give you a holiday from everyday life. I know they are 'doing their job' but the smiles and wishes are real. In summary if you want a beautiful piece of paradise with close options for more active pursuit then The Bhuvarin resort is the perfect place to stay. Already dreaming about our return in 2025.

we came to this resort in 2014 . back then it was just simple bungalows with no pool but I remember it had such amazing vibe I decided I need to visit it one day again . so we came back now ( March 2023 ) and it had the same chilled vibe as I remembered . the staff even remembered me which was sweet :) the property is lovely with big pool and it’s right on the very nice Lonely beach . Rooms are Suoer comfortable ( though tad small so if you want more space , be sure to book poolside villas ) For us it was ok , we were two adults and a child . bathrooms are nice and spacious .staff is lovely and very helpful . their restaurant and bar is nice with plenty of amazingly delicious dishes to choose from big menu . definitely would recommend their Tom yum soup but we tried many dishes in ten days we stayed there and everything was super delicious . we would definitely come back again

Very enjoyable, staff perfect, helpful, excellent location right by the sea, big spacious rooms, well equiped, really good mattresses, spa-beach massage provided by hotel masseuses- very good, breakfast - fantastic(from asian, to european, cold, hot bufet.. everything one can imagine to have for breakfast ), coffee - Jura espresso machines - what to say, 12 out of 10 points, we are group of very frequent travellers, so I can compare with many other parts of the world, hospitality here is excellent, keep it up, we will defenetly come back, thank you for really enjoyable stay.

We were cruising around the island and checking other resorts because we wanted to stay longer than we planned and Barali was just perfect in the terms of location, service and facilities. Sonwe decided to stay here a few more days. It is designed perfectly, the landscape architecture is amazing, you have a filling that you are in the middle of the jungle. Klong prao beach is the most beautiful beach on the island, especially on the sunset. Breakfast was amazing and stuff very kind. They helped us arrange the transportation back to Bangkok.

What a beautiful resort! Aana Resort&Spa is the place to be on Koh Chang! Spacious rooms, good bed/bathroom, great size of the swimming pool, private large white sand beach (they bring you with a small boat) where you can relax on sun-beds or have a drink at the bar! They have a beach restaurant, toilets and massage-ladies! All you need to make your holiday perfect! Breakfast was in buffet-style and you could get all you wanted! Eggs any style, fresh fruit, salad, rice dishes, and lots of extra's! And all super jummy!😊

I really liked staff who were super helpful. At the 1st day we had emergency situation and hotel reacted on time and fast. One of staff (Liam) was exceptional in assisting finding the car till BKK airport and other helpful tips to explore the island. I really recommend to stay there: rooms in the main building have its own private swimming pools. Breakfast place has fantastic view to mountains and "infinite" pool.

Property location is excellent with great access to the beach with many bars and restaurants close by either on the street or along the beach. Hotel pool and swim up bar are awesome and the staff very friendly and helpful. Deluxe Room was spacious and very comfortable. Stayed most of our stay at a resort which was twice the price stayed here our last two nights and preferred our stay here. Love this resort.

Excellent location with direct access to the beach. Your room is merely 100 meters away from the waterline, - it's simply amazing. Nice pool with two jacuzzi sections. Friendly and helpful hotel staff, very clean and comfortable room. I rented a scooter and had a glimpse of other beach areas on the island. Must say - Klong Prao is still my favourite.

Ko chang is a hidden jewel, lots to do and see with other amazing islands to visit. Worth 4 nights stay on anyones itenary. Good viewpoints beaches and bars, much more laid back than pattaya but still things to do. We ve enjoyed the island and would come again

A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

Ko Chang has no real central beach and on those beaches, there is no real central area; it's a bunch of hotel along the road. Nothing like Koh Samui. The beaches are very far apart and Lonely Beach is pretty run down, so choose wisely.

We hired bicycles for 100 baht near Centara and we could cycle to the waterfall and to visit some other beaches. It is not cheap to get around, 6km was 150 each so 300 baht for 2. We stayed at Bailan beach hotel which was nice and small and intimate with a few other restaurants nearby. We walked about 1km north and south of Bailan beach but the roads are not so safe for walking there. Near Centara the roads are wider with a cycle path.
