We stayed for 3 nights, Mr Ping was awesome with free transfer to hotel both ways, and had motorbikes for hire too! Great pool, and loved the cats visiting whenever we sat on the terrace. Location was really good, only a couple of mins from the main road thru Ban Tai area, plenty of options to eat out, we chose the fairly new Night Market on our last night and had awesome food, I can highly recommend the Lasagne from Monna Lisa 😀 The only thing that I would add to the room is glasses for drinking and another bowl as there was only one, but that's nothing really, all good 👍

The staff here are super friendly and always happy to help with anything! They really went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay, teaching me a bit of the local language, booking taxis, and checking in to see if I was doing okay. I honestly felt really well looked after. The place itself is adorable, and the rooms are spotless and cosy. They even top up water and tissues every day, which is such a nice touch.💕

The loveliest staff we’ve met on our trip to Thailand! Very welcoming and helpful when it comes to renting a scooter, offering great suggestions for day trips around the island. Service was great and we had anything we could’ve asked for during our stay. 🏝️ When we visited the hotel it was still in soft opening mode, but we were not disturbed once by noise or workers. We had an amazing stay with breathtaking views and the drinks at the bar were to die for! Fresh coconuts will boost your energy after a sunbath. The free to use pool table was a very nice add-on as well! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Koh Phangan!

It was a lovely place to spend a few days holiday. The staff were very kind and helpful and the garden, pool and restaurant were all very good. The little beach is also good for sunbathing and you can swim in the sea though the non rocky parts are only waist deep but it's very pleasant to cool off in. There were lots of little places scattered around to sit and read or lie in a hammock and just watch the sea. My room was comfortable and the air-con in was very efficient. Great housekeeping service. Toiletries were provided and daily water was left ready for guests on the table outside the room before waking up, which is a thoughtful and timely gesture. Delicious restaurant menu, including a range breakfast options, at fair prices. Just what I needed to switch off and really relax. Highly recommended.

We arrived to kupu kupu from Sunday to Friday, there are no words to describe our stay at this hotel. If you want to arrive at heaven on earth, this is the place for you. From the moment we checked in - we were greeted perfectly, with Andy that was very nice and kind man, we sat down in front of the perfect view of the hotel with drinks and wet towels for refreshment. We arrived at our villa which was decorated for our honeymoon and received a gift voucher for a dinner at the hotel where every meal there is a creation in itself. Our amazing and kind waiters - AED, Foam, Noe, Bank, AD, May, Ziny, Micky, Lin, San were the most wonderful team we have met!!!! They are such kind-hearted people, pampering, always smiling and doing everything to make you enjoy yourself to the maximum. We all love them!!! They completely made our stay! In addition, the breakfasts were really excellent and delicious and varied! This hotel also has a private beach which is a perfect paradise, what more can we add? Every minute here is a sweet dream and thanks to everyone who made this happen!!!! If I return to Pha-Ngan- only here!!!!we can’t wait to come back ❤️

Buri Rasa has the friendlest staff we have ever met in all our trips to Thailand especially Koi at reception. Really helpful from reception staff to the dining room staff. There were staff constantly cleaning the public areas and the whole place is spotless. Location is excellent right onto the beach with lots of sunbeds and shades. The pool is a bit small but perfect for a cool off when coming off the beach. There is a small village beside the hotel with enough restaurants to chose from for dinner,coffee etc. Breakfast in the hotel is excellent and also dinner. Lovely setting looking onto the beach.

The food at the local restaurants were very good and very cheap. It is very beautiful, especially for walks on the beach at night. The Island itself can do with a good cleaning. To many tourist just dumping everything on the ground.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

Amazing place on the island.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

Location - it was like a dream.

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

NOT a party beach, no jet skis, no techno bars… it’s perfect It is, however, rather far from Thong Sala pier, and quite isolated, and the road is a treacherous one, but once you’ve checked in you probably won’t want or need to leave.

It feels mostly private and is surrounded by resorts. The beach is beautiful, shallow waters, a nearby reef, plenty of fish to spot while swimming or snorkeling. It completely changes from low tide (early morning) through high tide (from 11 to 5pm). During high tide, there’s not much sand left, but the resort’s sunbeds are perfectly positioned for relaxing just in front of the beach. Nice sunset views too (not directly but close)

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over...

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.
