Fantastic value for money. Great location, near the best noodle shop on the island. Good amenities, basic bathroom but has everything you need. Nice little balcony shared between two rooms, which gave us an opportunity to socialise.

THis is excellent place with picturesque views for relaxing enjoyable vacation. we really pampered ourselves in this resort with cozy beach, beautiful pools, delicious restaurants and nice spa. I'd like to thank every staff in the restaurants and territory workers. Besides, I want notice receptionists Not and Mint, they were very friendly and helpful in every moment. We visited Breeze and Buzz restaurants, and now we really miss that tasty dishes. Every evening we savoured live music by a very talented singer, who created unforgettable atmosphere. We have warm memories about the resort.

The island is very good if you just want to relax. Many quiet beaches. Most hotels have live music on, and they play easy listen music. If you want to unwind and just chill i would recommend this island.

It's one of my favorite beaches in Thailand, close enough to Bangkok that you don't have to fly, but far enough away that the water is beautiful and the sand is white and soft. I always stay at the same resort on Tubtim beach (Tamarind), and it never disappoints - I don't even leave for food because their food is always delicious!

Loved the Viking Holiday Resort where we stayed.

Loved the Viking Holiday Resort where we stayed. It was very peaceful and just what we needed - good access to beaches and quiet. However there are problems on Ko Samed as many resorts have gone out of business and are derelict - unfortunately with rubbish piling up outside them and nothing being done about that. So it really depends where you stay!
