Everything we got family room in front of the pool not so far from fisherman and good position as well to take the boat either on one side to Ang thong national park and on the other to go to Koh phangan ; big Buddha temple is a s well not so far. Perfect team as well providing a lot of information thank you for everything and good luck for the future. Weather was a well excellent in February : sunny warm but not too much : excellent!

located in a fisherman village, great spot. The bed was so comfy. It is a large room, very new and a lot of space. The area and room was clean. The service was great and wifi was excellent. The price is a good value. Just walking distance to Coco Tam's and in the middle of shopping area. The cafe was amazing, must try bakery!!! But no parking area.

We loved the staff, the vibe and the food. Breakfast was very delicious - The best we had so far in Thailand. You could chose between 6 different dishes - so it never got boring - and you always got extra fruits. The two managers, Henri+Chris, are very nice and helpful - as was the rest of the staff. If you need something: Just go to the reception and they will do their best to make you happy. It was very easy to rent a scooter. You could do your laundry and if you didn't feel like doing anything, you have a nice pool area to chill out and just be. You could even have a swim in the evening-nighttime, what was so nice, after a long day on the road. We didn't go there for fishing but we talked to some other guests who did and they loved it. It looked very exciting - big fishes to catch. And if you're lucky you'll see part of the lizard family. We were staying in a double room next to the pool and were very satisfied. I heard the houses right on the lake are even nicer and also worth staying as a family. So I would recommend this place to two sorts of people: If you're a fishing addict or if you want to get a good cost - performance ratio and like to stay in a clean-modest-place with everything your heart needs for a good vacation.

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

The moment our van approached the entrance of Centara Villas Samui, each family members felt “Yes! Holidays begins!”. Friendly team members welcomed us to an open air lobby with tamarind tea and sticky palm sugar + durian candies. We are 4 adults and 2 children and stayed at the deluxe spa rooms which comes with a cute little Santorini inspired porch, clean and beautiful wooden interior rooms, comfortable beds with a window couch and the best of all a balcony with a jacuzzi!!!! They offer 3 lovely pools with plenty of sun chairs, towels. The landscape was simply stunning with flower plants. A private beach was our hangout place and they offer complimentary kayaks for the guests to use. We ate there almost every night and look forward to the different theme nights they offered. They really did a good job to welcome Christmas and New Year Eve (unfortunately we could not experience this as their rooms were already fully booked for the 31 Dec). Delicious local and fusion dishes. Breakfast spread was also good and they make an effort to change the menu every day. We enrolled in the cooking class and was very happy to cook 4 local dishes for lunch. Definitely impressed with the efforts taken by the Chef to teach us the Thai Cuisine. And when you are at Centara, you need to relax those muscles and go for the well-deserved massage and manicure and pedicure at their spa. Thank you Centara Villas Samui for offering my family an oasis away from the heavily touristed crowd. Your place was the perfect place for us to laze and relax and find calmness. Your team members were always friendly, helpful and attentive. We look forward to come back :)

The secluded location, the villa's and facilities are all top class and absolutely stunning. What differentiates a good hotel from a great one are the people, and I would like to make a special mention of the food and beverages team, especially Branka Novakavic, Chef Sumalee Khunpet and Champ. They did everything humanly possible to ensure us a fabulous dining experience and accommodated our special diatry restrictions as if they were no problem at all. We feel like we were blessed to experience a few days of heaven on earth.

We had an extraordinary stay at Villa Samayra - truly the No.1 luxury villa experience in Koh Samui. The property is stunning, with uninterrupted sea views and a peaceful ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained. A special mention to Yanisa and Palm, who were exceptional throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and proactive service made everything seamless. Every request was taken care of even before we asked. The food deserves its own praise- the chef’s dishes were remarkable, turning each meal into a five-star dining experience. Easily accessible, used Grab, taxi service to get around, reliable. Walked along the beach but you can only go so far as you then have to walk through the water which is waist deep. You can walk along the road. Nice restaurant called The Cliff if you want to treat yourself. Did 3 trips, the first was the island tour which visits temples, look out and waterfall. Second tour was to the elephant Haven, this was amazing, very sad when you hear the stories of how the elephants ended up there after being rescued. They do a great job. Third trip was to Pig Island and snorkeling. Pig Island was 1 hour which I thought was a bit too long, maybe just half an hour should be allocated. Snorkelling was great and the lunch which was included was beautiful.

We stayed over on Ban Tai, which was quieter with a beautiful sandy beach, almost no one around. I got a massage by the water with only the sound of the crashing waves which was the highlight on my trip. Great for families and good food all around.

Plenty of good restaurants around especially the Happy Elephant, as we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary there, they treated us to a little surprise which was appreciated, the food and sea views were excellent. Bophut is a lovely place to stay especially with couples and family.

The private swimming pool is definitely the highlight of this place! House with three-bedroom villa, and what’s interesting is that every room offers a sea view with a stunning sunset. It’s clean, private, and conveniently located , not far from the beach and popular attractions.

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

Very friendly people and going to a night market is a great experience! Traveling across the island is easy but it may get a bit costly if you have to take a van for 6 or 8 people. Beaches on the east side are nice but busy. Beaches on the west are less crowded but may get narrow and untidy due to the tides. Overall we were missing the very long beaches with plenty of palm trees and powder-soft sand. Worth a visit are higher areas of the island in middle, e.g. Dee's Chilling Hill restaurant. Also going to the Ang Thong Marine park is very nice.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Loved our room! It was very spacious,clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient,quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .
