All of the personel were so lovely and kind. The views from the rooftop pool were magnificent. The food in the restaurant was superb. Breakfast was very good and coffee exactly how I love it. Specially loved the fresh fruit selection every morning 😍 they even provided us a little potty seat for my 2year old :) We had a very pleasant stay at the Pacific and cant wait to come back when headed back to Thailand one day ❤️

I never left a 10/10 cleanness before, this hotel was perfect. All the comments you see on google reviews about construction and noise are no longer applicable. The hotel is finished and no construction noise was happening in my 5 days stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the hotel building felt very new—everything was spotless and well-maintained. They even have their own hotel app, which made communication smooth and convenient. Requesting housekeeping, towel changes, or room service through the app was especially easy and efficient. The breakfast service was also very satisfying. We stayed for a total of five nights, and the menu changed slightly every day, which kept things interesting. The mix of Western and Asian dishes allowed us to enjoy breakfast in our preferred style, and there was also a small corner where you could order freshly cooked egg dishes. Although breakfast is available, the room also comes with a kitchen, so you can cook for yourself if you prefer. A convenience store is only a 3-minute walk away, and if you walk 3 minutes further, there is a large supermarket (MACRO), which made shopping very convenient. Another big advantage was having a washing machine in the terrace —it was perfect after swimming or spending time in the water. The room itself was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable for the price. Overall, excellent value for money! The staff were wonderful, the facilities were modern, and the stay was incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

Idyllic Island of International Fame

Thailand’s largest island, Phuket has a mountainous landscape leading down to lush, green palms, warm, turquoise seas and soft, golden sands. Patong is its most developed resort and is well known for outrageous nightlife. There are lots of clubs, bars and restaurants in the main town and it also has a fantastic beach lined with hotels and resorts.

To the south is Karon, home to the 2nd largest beach and offshore coral reefs that are good for snorkelling. Quieter Kamala also has coral reefs and good surfing conditions, as do the curved beaches at Kata.

The island’s airport is in the north and there are lots of Phuket hotels near the airport in Mai Khao and Nai Yang, where sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. In Bangtao to the south there is a great range of Phuket hotels with private pools on Booking.com, while around the corner in exclusive Surin there are often typical Thai long boats bobbing up and down in the rolling waves.

On the other side of the island Chalong has an impressive Buddhist temple and is a popular spot for kitesurfing. Neighbouring Panwa has shallow water coral and the Phuket Aquarium to explore. The Phi Phi islands are off Phuket’s eastern shores and their idyllic scenery makes wonderful day trips.

Staff was friendly and very prompt with any service. In room BBQ was exceptional and well worth trying. Private pool is amazing for thr lazy days, whilst the big pool is good for a change too. Loved my daily walk on the beach spotting different coral and shells every day. Buggy service always prompt and no wait to get anywhere in the resort. Spa packages were such amazing experience, and easy to pop the sky lounge next door for a drink and dinner afterwards. Preferred food at the sky lounge over the restaurant. Breakfast at the restaurant is an amazing spread though and top quality. And cappuccinos were great too.

The hotel is absolutely stunning and nestled in the mountain cliff area away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket, which worked for us. The staff were so attentive and very friendly. The room is also beautifully decorated and very spacious. The bathroom and dressing area is very large! The food was fantastic, the Thai restaurant is a must, and we did the cooking class, which is an amazing experience. They also gave us a goody bag, which was such a lovely touch. Overall 10/10 experience.

Central Patong Beach is very busy and congested, personally not my recommendation, however it is much more quiet at either end away from the central area. I would more recommend Kata (although it is wall to wall sunbeds - unbelievable really) and Karon Beach and highly recommend Kamala Beach.

The hotel is in a great location on top of the old town and...

The hotel is in a great location on top of the old town and seconds from great shops, coffee bars and a vast range of venues. It is an excellent value place to stay if you want to be in the centre. The old town is great for the Sunday walking street and has everything to offer. A selection of different music artists, brilliant choice of street food and lots to spend your money on. Thoroughly recommend.

Kata was nicer than Patong - less night life, We didnt enjoy the beaches the amount of rubbish in the sand and water is very sad- not just Kata we found the all the Phuket beaches the same, very sad or maybe we are very lucky in NZ to have beautiful rubbish free beaches

Karon Beach is very crowded and not as clean as you might expect for a tropical paradise. There are a lot of people, and many vendors approach you offering jewelry, massages, and other services. If you enjoy being in a lively, busy atmosphere with lots of people around, it’s fine. But if you prefer calm, quiet water and space to relax without crowds, this is not the best beach for that. Overall, it’s okay but very crowded, and the experience depends on what you’re looking for.

Quiet beach where you can take boat trips and go horseback riding. Close to restaurants, cafes, cheap clothing stalls, massage and a couple of 7/11's. Great area if you want to have a quiet escape with a book or just "me" time. No malls, no hustle & bustle, no hard sell. A stunning sun-set!

Kamala Beach is absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It can get a bit busy, so I recommend arriving early to secure a good spot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated because it gets very hot during the day. Overall, a great beach experience!

Room for improvement to be clean and well organised to manage shops, restaurants, and massages to welcome tourists from around the world. Now is dirty not only because of trash from the waves but also on the beach with all shops - does not clean their own area. Recommend Bangtao Beach from the middle up towards the north to Layan Beach.

Friendly Thai people, peaceful environment, and a great location near the new township and Nai Harn Beach—much nicer than the usual Patong area. Plenty of halal food and convenience stores nearby. A perfect healing spot.

Recommendation for restaurants = "My Front Yard" is a new location with several different types of restaurants. Ate at three of them and the food and service was excellent. Recommend "Home Sweet Home" as the close by go to coffee shop.
