This hotel was fabulous. The design the colours the materials, the textures, the staff..the Beds oh my God the beds were perfect (we were extremely sad we only had one night there). And the lighting outside of the hotel, inside, in the rooms a master architect designed this place. We had a very early flight so the reception was kind to pack us lunch and have it wait for us at 4.00 AM. Amazing hotel through and through.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and Grande Centre. Everything was of highest quality (the rooms, the service, breakfast, cleanliness, etc.) the hotel has a game room, rooftop pool, sauna, a great rooftop restaurant. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean, the beds were one of the comfiest we had slept on in Thailand :) the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel also organised our transfer to the airport after our stay. If you’re looking for a 5star hotel in Bangkok - we 100% recommend this one - we will for sure be coming back if we visit again :)

The breakfast is out of this world. Great local food, all fresh and super trendy. From the healthy juices to the oat banana pancakes, this breakfast is top notch. The hotel is well designed, trendy and focused on details. Staff is very kind and attentive. They do everything to make your stay wonderful. The view from the pool is amazing, the big swing is a nice instagram-worthy picture place and the bar gives you probably one of the best views over Bangkok. I work in the hotel industry and I know when a hotel is a zero or a hero. This one is definitely a hero.

The staff are really lovely. You can order a massage at the front desk and the masseuse comes to your room. As of Feb 2025, 400b for a Thai massage and 600b for an oil massage. You can take a tuktuk to the market for 80b roundtrip or it's a 25min walk. It's a 10min walk the other direction to the mangrove forest. There are laundry services for 35b per piece of clothing and they'll do it within the day if you send it in the morning. It's mostly Thai tourists there, everyone really nice and respectful. There's a fire show on the beach at the weekends too. It's good value for money considering the high quality of the location and beautiful swimming pool. There's also a cafe next to reception with really nice quality iced coffee and drinks. A real luxury cafe.

We loved this property! It is very modern, urban chic and so tastefully done. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable huge bed, wifi and everything you could need. We had a balcony overlooking the pool and the river. The pool is gorgeous and we enjoyed a few swims. Drinks, breakfast, one complimentary afternoon tea and dinner at the restaurant were all fantastic. The resort organised a day tour for us which we loved. It was a long day though with a bit of walking but we enjoyed experiencing Hellfire Pass and getting to see the countryside. The staff in reception had excellent English which made communication easy. Worth every cent and I highly recommend this property.

Excellent variety and quality of food at breakfast. The staff - reception and restaurants and general staff are amazing. Go out of their way to accomodate your wishes. Example if you like a particular food they will try and get it for you and if you like a particular food at breakfast, you will be asked ea morning whether you would like it. And it will be delivered to your table.

The hotel was right by the sea and also very near the local shopping mall (The Market Village), which is a big plus. The hotel was very clean, the food was good, the location was good and the staff were excellent. I would certainly stay here again when I travel to Hua hin.

I liked Chiang Mai, but it wasn’t quite what I expected.

I liked Chiang Mai, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. I imagined it to be less crowded and more village-like. Chiang Mai mainly consists of the night bazaar, hotels, bars and restaurants, souvenir and handicraft shops, massage salons, and places where you can buy weed. Of course, Chiang Mai also has culture and some nice spots, but for me it’s not a particularly special city. I did, however, visit places outside Chiang Mai that were definitely worth seeing. I could see myself living in Chiang Mai, as it’s a complete city with everything you need as a resident. But for a holiday, I would choose a different destination.

Very well maintained.

Very well maintained. Lot of activities like Parasailing, Jet Sking at beach. Cabana rentals were not expensive.Good thing is they do have a separate smoking zones.Very well maintained paid public restrooms near by.Lot of street food stalls.

Its a bit chaotic and touristy.

Its a bit chaotic and touristy. There's a decent amount of traffic. It isn't necessarily a place that you would want to come back to. After you go on a few island tours, that's about all you need. Railay is awesome so definitely go there from Ao Nang.

If you went there for the girlie bars 10 out of 10. Walking street was disappointing from the street. The baht busses were good but you had to plan your trip according to the direction the buses went. Plenty of good food places at reasonable prices. Shopping centres catered for expensive tastes.

The island is very beautiful.

The island is very beautiful. It's suitable for all types of tourists. The beaches are nice, although the best ones require at least a 20-minute walk. I was pleasantly surprised. Maya bay definitly worth a visit (only acessible by boat). The food is good and varied. The viewpoints are spectacular. Viewpoint 3 is quite far and a bit muddy, but if you're in good physical shape, you can get there easily. Those traveling with children or who have mobility difficulties should avoid accommodations in the mountains. Eat and drink places: THE COFFEE CLUB - Best coffee shop Anna's Restaurant - One of the best places to eat Garlic 1992 - Best restaurant Activities: Day snorkeling trip (if it's not raining). Reggae Bar Phi Phi to watch tourists fighting for fun (not recommended for young children) Beach fire parties (if you want to drink and maybe flirt). Less positive: It would be better to have less polluting and noisy local boats available to reduce pollution and noise. Perhaps with eletrical engines.

Beaches are beautiful around Koh lanta - hire a scooter if you can ride one and travel around the island - it’s small enough to do in a day but there’s also plenty of beaches that if you had it for a few days could spend time at different ones. KL old town is lovely as is the nature reserve and the lighthouse

The Old Town is advertised as a product of Portuguese and Chinese historical influences. There is not a lot of evidence of these in the main tourist spots although they are not altogether. But there are some great night markets, streets full of shops , good coffee shops and excellent additional attractions such as the elephant sanctuaries and island excursions (including the amazing James Bond Island !)

After visiting Koh Phangan for 2 x nights, which was great - Koh Tao just dials up the WOW factor - Sairee Beach is paradise, and the vibe is very relaxed, low rise, chilled out - with sunsets that are world class. If you don't visit & fall in love with the island, there must be something wrong with you, because this place ticks all the boxes - this is a world class island experience - and i can't wait to return!

Chaweng is fantastic, full of nice bars and restaurants.

Chaweng is fantastic, full of nice bars and restaurants. Lively bar/club street in the centre. Beach is beautiful and stretches miles. Negatives are the pavements, they have just slapped electric meters all over, cracked and missing paving so its not too safe. Constant weed/massage shops which are annoying to walk past.
