- From US$32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 126 reviewsThe place is a gem. A beautiful private house with a lovely garden and a nice swimming pool, guarded, fenced and secured. A nice shaded sitting area in the garden with birds, herbs and green all around you, free coffee, tea and water. Ally is an amazing lady - one of these colorful, knowledgeable and funny old Africa hands that you hope to meet during your trip in the continent. The rooms are large and airy, bed is super comfortable and the shower is hot. The ladies working at the place help you in any way possible and if they can not - then Ally is always there to advise. Amir, the tuktuk guy, will take you anywhere in town any time of the day for a very small fee. We loved the place and felt sorry when we had to leave. Highly recommended!Guest review byalizaPortugal
- From US$110 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsAmazing place, location, staff, food... everything! We spent 4 magical days immersed in nature, cuddled by the very professional staff and enjoying the quiet and slow rhythm of the forest around us. Beautiful safari tours to the local village of Gongo and to Saadani National Park are a plus. Absolutely recommended!Guest review byFra1985Italy

The old town with historic sites, Arabic and German that is worth seeing. The town has many trees and greenery that add to its beauty. I enjoyed the beachfront and the sea. The new town is not far away with its market and much souvenirs available to buy. I preferred the local food but there are restaurants that foreign cuisine. It's easy to get around by foot but if require many motor cycles and some tuk tuk can take you where you want to go.Guest review byMiller - 10.0
