We went as a family with kids. Ofcourse value for money compared to those hotels near to the beach. Mafia is a big island but inhabitants is low. Having said that, this hotel was near to any basic amenities required. It is even just 5 to 7 minutes walk to the domestic airport. The staffs welcomed us very well and made our stay exceptionally perfect. They even organized good deal excursion, we all kids managed to see whale-shark and swim with them at Kilindoni which was 10 minutes drive from this hotel. Even snorkeling and blue-lagoon was amazing at Utende which was about 40 minutes drive. All transport was well provided and taken care of us. Looking forward to be back!

Lovely small property with very personal service, really great standard of accommodation, big room, great shower, nice pool, extremely accommodating staff. Excellent overall. Dive equipment is new and dive service also excellent.

The staff and surroundings were extremely friendly and open. Our room was perfect and simple for our stay on Mafia. The food served was very fresh and always on point. Another good thing is the location of the property, just at the beach, with beach lounges and activities in case you want to see some more than just being in the hotel. Since someone is always around you can be sure that all of your belongings are a 100% safe and you can even decide to leave your room open or leave your phones to charge somewhere out.

The location itself is very nice, staff and owners are very friendly, the whaleshark tour was good (the weather was bad and we didn't see whalesharks but they really tried their best).

The bungalows are very cozy, super clean and the staff is extremely friendly 👌👍 The owner took us on a day trip with snorkeling and diving and had a lot of tips for us. He joined us for lunch and dinner and had an answer to all of our questions regarding whale sharks, diving, beaches etc. 100% recommendation !

This has to be the best place on Mafia island. Set apart from town, on a bluff with a commanding view of the sea, and the sunset, three very stylish - and huge - rooms, large infinity pool, great food, superb manager in Ali and his excellent assistant Salama. Mafia is great - a paradise Indian Ocean island just open enough to be accessible and for everything to be easy to arrange - but it feels like the big tourist rush is yet to arrive. And Kilekeni, a short hop from town, the airport or the busier east coast, is one of its most serene and supremely relaxing spots.
