We have spent in BB about 7-8 days at the begining of January. We had no to much luck with weather since it was raining almost every night, and streets were full of mud. But we had luck with sellectio of the hotel. Breakfest was excellent and divrse every morning. Swiming pool was large and clean. And personel was fantastic in maintenance of our room. Aspecially owner Max and his wife - they helped us a lot, when my wife needed a profesional medical help durng the last day and they had assisted in providing that.

Amazing place to relax, great hospitality, and a very comfortable large bed. Clean rooms, beautiful surroundings with local plants. Very nice pool and relaxing area. The restaurant serves really good food, not to mention breakfast, you get with the price of the room. Host Ahmet and Ersoy are very professional and friendly. They would go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. The best place to stay in Nungwi,with 2 minutes walk to the beach.

This cozy beachside resort offers a peaceful, serene escape with exceptional service. The owner, Loay, is incredibly hospitable and always available on WhatsApp to attend to any needs including your meal order, excursion plans etc. (I have yet to see this service at another resort). Rufina, the friendly and attentive waitress, made every meal enjoyable. Unlike other resorts, this one has fewer hawkers, allowing for a more relaxed experience. It’s the perfect spot for relaxation, with a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The resort is absolutely lush, well kept, and beautiful with picturesque photo opportunities all around, especially at the beach. Our room was amazing, very cleaned, spacious and comfortable with a stunning ocean view and totally faultless. The staff are incredibly friendly, always ready with a smile. Their warm hospitality enhances the experience. The seafood at Breeze restaurant is a highlight, fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The international buffet dinner around the pool and the Swahili night at the beach with a Massai performance are a must to attend. A special shout-out to the Executive Chef Ali and his team for creating such memorable meals, during our entire stay. The resort offers multiple restaurants to enjoy with different thematic (Italian, Seafood, BBQ and Asian). We want to acknowledge a few super stars who made our stay extra enjoyable. Thank you to Clara, our adorable waitress who always took care of us with a smile and colorful eyeshadow 😊. She is so nice and felt like family by the time we left. Thank you to Hassan the fantastic Food and Beverage manager who made sure that we were very well looked after. He got his department fully under control and was present morning to night to be sure his guests are well taken care of. Finally, I want to personally thank the General Manager Mr. Javier and his management team. If the guest experience feels so enjoyable is also due to his leader who in the shadow of the actions makes sure the property is well run. Bravo! From the time we stepped into the property, we knew we were in the perfect place. Calm, peaceful with the sound of birds to greet you as soon as you walk into the reception. The staff are absolutely out of this world- their kindness was remarkable. I find it hard to mention all the names here, as each and every single member of staff was exceptionally warm and helpful- to find this is extremely rare. Benjamin helped us out in literally almost everything- including arranging for some medication and testaments for our baby girl. Nitin, the bar manager helped arrange a custom baby chair for her as well and checked on us everyday. The general manager himself lent us the baby chair from his house- it was a truly heartwarming gesture.The property itself is green, lush, luxurious and absolutely opulent. Going for bike rides was something we looked forward to as the beautiful Zanzibar breeze lifted us away into a magical world of nature and its bliss. The backyard pool only steps away from the sea was something we absolutely loved as well. Now coming to the food- the food was magnificent and the service in both restaurants more than perfect. Service with a smile all the way! We looked forward to the meals while we walked down or biked down to the restaurant- anticipating what would be on offer that day :) Grill station was OMG ! The dinner entertainment was also carefully selected- not too loud, just right and very very enjoyable! We will miss this stay for a long long time, no matter where we go, there was something uniquely beautiful about the place.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are huge and it feels like home. Beautifully located on the beach and what makes this hotel so special is the presence of the manager and the amazing staff! We have rarely felt as comfortable as we do here and we have never experienced such an attentive and present manager and we have stayed in many luxury hotels. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and eager. Our flight was postponed to very late, the Manager Tuan Thasleem Juhara knew that we had to do our checkout the next day and offered us a free late checkout including dinner! We were able to stay in our room until late, enjoy our last day to the fullest at the beach, watch the last sunset, have a shower in our room and enjoyed our last dinner with no rush and then checed out. Simply fantastic and so generous! From the staff at the reception, in the restaurant, bars, gardeners, room cleaners to the manager they are all great and go the extramile! Thank you all for doing such a great job and making us fall in love with you! You really miss these people when you leave this place! Hakuna Matata!

We loved our 10 nights stay. It is a really cosy hotel, not too big, so for our honeymoon stay was just perfect! We loved the food, the beach, all inclusive drinks, our cute bungalow with terrace facing the ocean! The whole place needs updating, sure - some maintenance, paiting or upgrating - but the first impression of the hotel and our room, was amazing. Hotel has great vibe, with beautiful flowers and plants all around. Open concept was just great! We liked the gym, it is very small but most of the times we were alone so we really, really enjoyed it! The whole team working in the hotel is amazing! They work really hard to provide excellent service for all the guests.

Excellent location for quiet vacations. The tide change the view all the time. The villas are spacious, well equipped and modern designed. The sea view villas gives you the privacy that you want. Restaurants on the beach tend to be a bit pricey, but if you take a short walk into the side streets, you’ll find places offering the same quality food at much more reasonable prices. What I didn’t like were the beach boys — they’re nice and friendly, but can be a bit annoying as they keep trying to sell things. They’re not too pushy, but it’s hard to relax when someone approaches you every couple of minutes. The only time you can truly enjoy some peace is early in the morning. Important note : you have to strongly negotiate the prices and people are very nice and easy going Try to learn few words from their language they will be super happy :)

Paje, beautiful place and beach, plenty of restaurants both on the beach and on the road. The only downside is that the beach is in the shade by 16:30 and very high and low tides makes taking a dip complicated !

A peaceful and welcoming town with a strong sense of community and a safe, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

Our stay was amazing and peaceful. The staff was funny and very friendly. Big thanks to Jana and her staff, Lameck in the restaurant section and Janet in housekeeping was so sweet and they looked after us at our 8-night stay. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Matemwe was nice - the beach part.

Matemwe was nice - the beach part. Sad to see the poverty behind the gates of the hotel. The tides were a bit different from what we have expected as the water would leave the beach at 9am and return around 5pm. If you did not make it to swim early in the morning, you missed it. We took a reef walk which was beautiful, saw a lot of see creatures, and that was very amazing experience. Also took a boat tour to see the sunset - it was worth the trip. Did not like how the locals would just stop on the beach and start shouting at you to buy smth. Also the part of the hotel beach is not segregated in any way, which does not give you a privacy enough. The food was amazing though - the hotel goes much beyond - and all day brekfast concept was amazing.

Kendwa beach was definitely the best beach compared to...

Kendwa beach was definitely the best beach compared to Nungwi, especially the south part. Even in low tide it was easy to take a swim. Also the beach here is wider and feel less crowded. As on the complete stretch there were many people trying to sell you stuff but on the south part not so many ”permanent” sales people other than the ones having sheds. The Maasai roaming around are friendly but just say no with a smile and most will not be persistent in their effort to sell you something..

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten...

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

Michamvi is located approximately 65 kilometers from Forodhani, and the journey can feel quite long—particularly if you have just arrived in Zanzibar. The drive is somewhat uncomfortable due to the condition of the road, which consists largely of worn, uneven tarmac. Additionally, the area lacks local street food options, leaving nearby hotels—most of which are high-end and expensive—as the primary dining choices. As someone who genuinely enjoys the rich and flavorful cuisine of Stone Town, I found the food in the area to be rather bland and not reflective of its price point.

I loved that it was a proper reflection of the Island in that you took home the beauty of the place and kindness of the people. It was not loud or noisy and had very few touristy hotels and vendors hassling you
