Despite our significant delay, they waited for us. Welcomingly welcomed. settled. Registration took less than a minute. The room is perfect. Large room with good repair. Air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, tea coffee in the room and of course WiFi and a large TV. Everything is well-groomed, clean and felt that was done with love. Thank you very much for the wonderful vacation you organized and excellent service. By the way, the hotel has a beautiful pool. And breakfast is included in the price of accommodation. Everything was great!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alpine Inn. From arrival to departure, we only encountered amazingly friendly staff that always had an open ear for each and any question and was helpful throughout our multi-day stay. Great team you got there, guys.  While the hotel has a fun theming when you see it from the street, it may look like your standard motel from the courtyard - but the rooms are way better than standard motel rooms. We have rarely, if ever, experienced rooms that were so spotless clean. And I really mean spotless, from door to bathroom joints. We have stayed about 3 1/2 months in hotels, motels & vacation rentals in the last 12 months, from Deluxe hotels and Disney Deluxe resorts to moderate hotels to motels and Alpine Inn's rooms were hands down the cleanest rooms we have been staying at for a very long time.  And don't forget the mattresses: very comfy and on par with the very "famous" "Disney Vacation Club mattresses" everyone who has ever slept on raves about.  Housekeeping during our stay was also perfect. Even when we left the room late on some days (we are lazy 😂) housekeeping still did what was scheduled for the day (really wouldn't have expected this).  Overall Alpine Inn offers a great value for the money, especially considering how close it is to a popular tourist destination like Disneyland (10 minutes walk) and the Anaheim Convention Center (just on the opposite side of the street) and we can highly recommend staying there and will also stay there again ourselves, next time we visit Disneyland. You can also find a hotel review in this vlog we did (NOT sponsored or hosted by Alpine Inn or anyone else!): https://youtu.be/EW6exyJ-1iI

FAQs about hotels in California

The American Dream

From the searing depths of Death Valley to the snow-capped peaks of the Lake Tahoe mountains, California is a wonderful US state that sums up the American Dream. Nowhere is this more evident than Los Angeles, the home of Hollywood and many stars who grace its red carpets.

In the south-west, Anaheim has a great range of Californian hotels near Disneyland where the magic of the movies comes to life. Sun-drenched San Diego, located close to the Mexican border in the state's south-western tip, is a popular spring break destination as is Palm Springs in a valley surrounded by rugged mountains.

In the well-known wine region of the Napa Valley the vineyards produce some fantastic wines, while Monterey is best known for its spicy cheese and the beautiful coastline that becomes the Big Sur coastal drive. Another driving adventure is the fabled Route 66 and parts of it pass through California, ending at Santa Monica pier.

Along the coast is beautiful Santa Barbara, and further north San Francisco is home to a good proportion of Californian hotels with indoor pools on Booking.com. The Golden Gate city is set around an exclusive bay which ends at Silicon Valley in San Jose, while famous Berkeley University is just across the water. The stunning natural beauty of Yosemite National Park is further east, while Sacramento is to the north-east.

Things to Like

Things to Like Weather : LA’s sunny, warm climate makes it feel like summer almost all year round. Diverse food scene : From tacos in East LA to high-end dining in Beverly Hills, the variety and quality are incredible. Entertainment & activities : theme parks, museums, concerts… there’s always something happening. Things to Dislike Traffic : One of the worst in the world; even short distances can take ages. High cost of living : Housing, parking, eating out everything adds up quickly. Urban sprawl : The city is huge and spread out, making it harder to get around without a car.

Im glad I was allowed to visit San Francisco. I recommend anyone who decides to go there or are sent there by their business must go by the Golden Gate Bridge and try to take pictures there. You wont regret it.

Just one question.

Just one question. What was that loud noise that almost shook the room every 5 minutes that sounded like a jet engine near our room until 10:30 pm? Went to Bali Hai for brunch. Lovely walk alongg the harbor before 11:00 am checkout.

There is so much to do and so much to explore in Anaheim.

There is so much to do and so much to explore in Anaheim. When choosing your accommodations, choose wisely. If you're inclined to stay in your room more than exploring outside, choose a Marriott, Westin, Hilton, Sheraton, or other big-name hotels. If you're inclined to be on a budget and will be spending time adventuring, find accommodations on Harbor Boulevard. Then, you'll be close to the main attractions and all the restaurants will be a walking distance from your accommodations. Public Transportation is the most convenient when on Harbor Boulevard. Disneyland Shuttles also run a convenient schedule on Harbor as well. Try and fit an Angels baseball game in your itinerary when they are in town during the season. That will become a highlight of your trip. Enjoy!

I had the best time and will definitely be back!

I had the best time and will definitely be back! As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe as I was visiting beaches, walking the streets downtown, hiking the state parks, etc. It was a clean and beautiful city with so much to do! If you have the opportunity - you MUST do a whale watching tour! I did the morning 4 hour tour through Monterey Bay Whale Watch and it was incredible! The only thing I did that felt like a bit of a waste was the aquarium - it is promoted heavily around town and I'm not sure if it's just because I've been to so many other better aquariums, but it felt overpriced and extremely small.

Sacramento is my home town. Been here 45 years.

Sacramento is my home town. Been here 45 years. It's nice but has its run down areas. It definitely could use better employees for the businesses around my area.. customer service sucks in most places therefore I refuse to even go to those places... And they're mostly family owned and family ran and trying to apply for work sucks. I get turned down most places I've applied too. Sacramento is not what it used to be and it's sad
