EVERYTHING! The cabins are so cosy and clean, the common area is cosy if you wanna read by the fire or eat something from the foodtruck if you don’t feel like cooking yourself. We also loved the drive-in movie theatre with vintage cars!

Cynthia and Tracey were wonderful hosts and made us welcome immediately and throughout our two day stay. Access to well appointed common areas were an excellent bonus.

The only motel between Hanksville and Torrey. Although expensive (I paid 165 USD per night for two people), still liked it very much because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the person at the front desk (thank you, Dakota, for all the information) and because the motel was in good order, clean, comfortable, quiet. It was great to get a breakfast in such a remote place. Some previous reviews here that breakfast is not adequate, are simply not true. There was enough food for everyone. And the surrounding area is great! Go and find Long Dong Silver and Moonscape Overlook and Swing Arm City!

Microwave, sizable fridge, coffee in room AND lobby, TV that swivels so you can see it from any place in room, competitive prices, table to work on, only 7 miles from Capitol Reef, not right on noisy highway, Quiet Time policy that must be observed between 10 pm and 8 am out of respect for other guests with a number to call in case people fail to abide by it (as a nature photographer who rises early and hikes many miles it was much appreciated).

The breakfast was very good. They offered a wide variety of breakfast foods and drinks. The location was perfect. Less than 10 miles from the visitor center of Capital Reef Park made the location perfect for going back to the park for a night program or any other reason to explore the park and sites. Also the front desk attendant made me feel very welcomed the moment I arrived for check in.

A recently renovated homestay, Casitas at Capitol Reef offers accommodation in Torrey. The homestay provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, obviously a lot of love and attention went into the details in the planning of this accommodation. Because we don't have a mobile phone (I know!!!!) we were lucky to catch the owner at work and so got in quite easily, for people with mobiles getting the key code would be so easy. Catherine was lovely, so helpful and her property manager equally so. Very close to most beautiful scenery and interesting places to visit, would definitely recommend staying here. Excellent local facilities in the town and a very kind, helpful manager in the local store!!

Muddy Creek Mining Company features rooms in Hanksville. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay.

The room was beautiful with doors opening to a terrace, looking at the mountains. The sun setting right in front of us. Showering while looking at the fantastic view. Jared cooked an amazing breakfast, had lots of good tips. He can even make lunch or dinner as long as you give him a heads up the day before. Very glad we booked a two day stay here!
