Location was great. Just a few blocks from the craziness of Bourbon St. Also beside green street car to Garden district and Hop on Hop off bus. What made the holiday were the staff. From check in, we were warmly welcomed and that hospitality lasted throughout our stay. Every one of thier staff members would bend over backwards to accommodate you or just say hello when passing. It was truly exceptional. From Patrick at breakfast to Renaldo at reception, they always had time for us. I have stayed in top 5 star hotels that have not managed that level of hospitality. The drinks and evening snacks where of a very high standard, as was the breakfast. We were on a 3 week tour of different US States and staying in 6 different hotels, this was by far our favourite.

I was impressed by how nice and luxurious this hotel was. We've had a twin room with Mississippi river views and it was so spacious that the window felt very far away from the bed. 😅 Even though it wasn't the newest, everything still looked good and you could tell high quality materials were used to furnish it. Beds were big and comfortable, room was quiet, more than enough toiletries in the bathroom and a ton of towels. Located in a nice, clean, safe neighborhood: 10 minutes walk to the French Quarter, 5 minutes walk to the trolley station, 3 minutes walk to a specialty coffee place, what's more to wish for? We even got an Uber discount for staying at this hotel, around 20$.

The location is awesome in the middle of the French Quarter with everything at your doorstep. The bed is large and comfy with a thick mattress and plenty of pillows.     We had an amazing time in New Orleans celebrating our...

    We had an amazing time in New Orleans celebrating our anniversary! We stayed at the Hampton Inn in downtown New Orleans, which was perfectly located within walking distance to everything we wanted to do — great restaurants, shopping on Canal Street, Bourbon Street, the WWII Museum, and even the steamboat cruise we took. We stayed for two nights, which was just enough time to fit it all in. There’s so much to see and do that we’re already planning another trip!

    THEY HAVE PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS TO PLEASE EVERYONE TASTE. PF CHANGS, SOUTHERN CHICKS AND DAIQUIRI, THE GREEK RESTAURANT, AND PICCADILLY ALL HAD GREAT SERVICE AND FOODS. GETTING AROUND BATON IS NOT HARD, IT JUST THAT THE DRIVERS THERE ARE NOT CONSIDERATE AND YOU REALLY HAVE TO DRIVE FOR YOURSELF AS WELL AS OTHERS

    Lafayette is a quiet Louisiana town that has the charm and quaintness of a typical French small town. The ambience was peaceful; visited the Evangeline statue in St. Martin Parish at the Saint Martin de Tours Mother Church of the Acadians and also visited the Longfellow - Evangeline State Historic Site. Pressed for time, I would love to get back and visit soon....

    we love the gambling.

    we love the gambling. I’m just playing penny slots was absolutely wonderful. We ended up moving up to quarter slots but we had so much fun and we only took like $300 and still came home with money. We were there for three days would love to go and say at least five days The staff is absolutely exceptionally trained motivated well deserving we love keep going if you want cleaning us great hospitality wonderful rooms you have got to go to Bally’s in Shreveport.

    Worst hotel i have ever stayed at! Disgusting smell, very dirty, everything broken down. Nothing worked including the shower. Manager savanna incredibly rude and controversial even to her staff. Unexpected fees that cost more than the hotel itself. Filthy pool, key to gym didnt work. They lost our check in paperwork so locked us out of our room. I wanted to leave as soon as i got there. This place should not be on booking.com. I want a refund! Stay at horseshoe dont stay here, you will regret it. Their reviews are fake! Abd they hide their true bad reviews

    Plenty of stores'.

    Plenty of stores'. At the time of this visit to my granddaughter's house in Haughton, the freeway had serious reconstruction in progress to the area of the motel and my son in law was able to lead us to the motel after dark as the exits to the motel were closed for reconstruction. We are very senior citizens.

    I liked the fact that it was a short drive to many attractions without being in a big city. Traffic was not a problem. Shreveport is not too far. The local people were very friendly. We ate at Traps twice. The food was excellent. The service was great. The re is a big arcade/funzone kind of place called Surge. Drew Breeze is one of the owners. We also went to the duck commander tourist attraction as this is where the Duck Dynasty family lives. Would like to go again. There is a lot more to see and do.

    Lakeside Mall is still a great indoor mall. Old Metairie has some good restaurants and stores. My son really like the Bricks and Minifigs Lego resale shop! And of course the Lego store. Easy drive to get to your favorite spots in New Orleans. Lots of Grocery Store options. I always bring my cooler! I love Zappardos. Really I love all the groceries in Metairie. So many options. Not usually a thing for visitors to go to, but there is nothing like a South Louisiana grocery.
