We had a free upgrade. Instead of having a room with partiel ocean view in the Jamaican building , we stayed in a one bedroom appartement with full beach and ocean view in the main building ! It was so clean and comfortable with pretty well everything we needed.

The dining is diverse.

The dining is diverse. Friendly staff in most of the places we visited. Plenty of shopping, eating and entertainment nearby! We saw the Motown review at GTS Theater and it was incredible! Mikes soul food is a local spot with incredible food and decent prices. Just the walk along the boardwalk is a nice way to spend part of the day!

Lots to do and see.

Lots to do and see. Ft Sumpter, Boone’s plantation, haunted carriage ride, dueling pianos was best entertainment and chop house was best food but high Cotton , Swamp Fox and Gabrielle’s were 55 runner ups

People were pleasant and helpful! Visit a USC basketball or USC football game for superb entertainment! The fans are very loyal, almost as loyal as UK basketball fans from Kentucky! SEC is the most entertaining league in college sports bar none!

We ran the Spinx Runfest Half Marathon Beautiful course! We left the day of the race. The manager let us check out an hour later than our scheduled time so we could shower after the race (12:00) We really, really appreciate her consideration! The housekeeping lady was so kind and understanding.

Stayed in the downtown area.

Stayed in the downtown area. There were several restaurants nearby. The area appears to be undergoing a revitalization. Several older buildings near my hotel were under renovation. Nicer than I expected.

Bring your bike!

Bring your bike! Lots of paths to explore on foot or safely out of traffic. Spacious, many times waterfront destinations are cramped with something wedged in every inch, this was more open creating a relaxing effect. Also the setbacks helped with separating spaces well. We really enjoyed Thai Ruan by the Palmera Inn. Medium was just the right spice level for us-flavorful but not overly lingering.

Rock Hill is a beautiful little city and an absolute gem...

Rock Hill is a beautiful little city and an absolute gem just south of charlotte. Christmasville is an amazing Festival totally worth traveling for. The Town Square with a huge fountain reminds me of a Piazza in italy. Rock hill has so much to offer and so many little nooks to explore. Love Rock Hill

This is a good little town that has all the amenities you could need Lowe's Walmart Target other shopping needs we ate at a good restaurant called Jim and Nick's BBQ the smoked turkey meal was really good. Traffic noise outside the echo hotel based on our room location wasn't great.. unfortunately I'm leaving the hotel needing a good night's sleep...

The history is fascinating and the tours are worth every dime. Lots of great restaurants and small shops. Even driving around the historical district and visiting Paris Island is worth the trip alone.

Do not stay at American Best Inn off Clemson Blvd in Anderson SC. THEY HAVE BEDBUGS. I got bite on my face and arm by bedbugs in this place. The owner said he would call me back. Haven't heard from him since I called him😡😡😡
