Fantastic view of the mountain from the pool. The services were top notch, and the massage we had from the spa was really needed after a long day hanging around beautiful Mai Chau. Our room was very beautiful. Parking space was large. Staff were super nice. Dinner was also great. All in all, highly recommend!

I had a truly memorable stay at Cọ Retreat. The location is remote but incredibly peaceful – surrounded by mountains, forests, and overlooking the Da River. It's the perfect place to unplug and slow down. The bungalows are cozy, clean, and thoughtfully built with natural materials. I especially loved waking up to the sound of birds and watching the mist roll over the lake in the morning – absolutely magical! Staff were kind and helpful, always making sure we felt comfortable. Meals were simple but delicious, with fresh local ingredients and traditional flavors. If you're looking for a place to relax, read a book, enjoy nature, or just breathe deeply – this is it. A hidden gem worth discovering.

We arrived as family of four with two bicycle and two children after dark and were immediately helped with all our luggage etc. In general, The personell was extremely helpful and nice to all of us. But exceptional was Mr. Xuan Long, who drove us around in the park and took care of us. He has an exceptional voice too and is a star singer. Thank you!!! The Meddom park was a new experience for us, the park is nicely set up with love in the detail. The room was small but had everything necessary. We felt comfortable and well remember our time in Meddom park and would like to come again. Thank you very much!

A Must-Read Until the End! We came to stay in the glamping tents, and the place is simply magical. Everything was perfect, and it’s clear that every small detail was thoughtfully planned. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes even more charming with all the beautiful lights. The bathrooms and showers are nearby and very comfortable. On our second night, one of us suffered from food poisoning. We contacted the staff at 3 AM, and from that moment, the hotel team never left our side. They immediately took us to a hospital just 300 meters away and stayed with us — three staff members — until they understood the situation. Especially Nhy, who stayed with us until 8 AM to help us communicate with the doctors. She also made sure we had food and medicine, paid for the treatment, upgraded us to a room with a private bathroom for better comfort, and ensured we had water and food available. All the hotel staff, without exception, checked on us the next day, and we truly felt cared for and supported. This is one of the places with the highest level of service we have ever encountered. We highly recommend staying here! Beyond the amazing service, the facilities are excellent, and we believe you will truly enjoy your stay. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team, and especially to Nhy, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt well again.

Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, but we still really enjoyed the beautiful location. What I loved the most was the large, stunning garden with a pool – it was truly a highlight. The owner kindly offered to show us around the area and shared lots of interesting information. Even though we communicated through Google Translate, it worked perfectly, and we really enjoyed the trip :-) During dinner, we were offered a taste of the local “happy water,” which added a fun and authentic touch to the experience. We definitely recommend this place!

Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Great views and a nice pool. The food is great and there's a good selection for breakfast including delicious pho, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. The owners are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again if we visit Mai Chau in the future. Thanks for the very tasty sticky rice and bamboo 😍

I can’t recommend Co’s house enough. Co is an excellent host, giving advice on where to visit and is a wealth of knowledge about the area. The room was different from any other we stayed in, offering a garden terrace overlooking the small village street. This was one of our favourite places in Vietnam!

I will give the maximum stars because I really wanted to rent a motorbike and it wasn't possible in the near area but the hosts we kind enough to arrange a motorbike for me which was wonderfull to ride around the mountains and nearby villages.

City is big enough to feed and entertain you all the night.

City is big enough to feed and entertain you all the night. The dam is nice from every angle. Be aware foreigners need passport to buy a ticket to get there. Ba Vi park is nearby and fun to explore on motorcycle. The other side of the dam should be nice too, but we didn't managed to see everything in just weekend.

While staying at Mai Chau Sky Resort I needed medical attention and was taken to the local hospital, the staff at both the hospital and Mai Chau sky resort were incredibly caring and supportive, I cannot thank them enough. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle from Hanoi for a few day Mai Chau is a beautiful little province, it is a great place to start.... Not terribly touristy..... so you will love it......Had we have had the time we would have stayed longer.....
