You cannot get a better experience than this. Period. Probably the best stay of my life. The host is super nice, he literally always had a cup of tea ready for us as soon as we stepped into the hotel. The views are stunning, there is a road that leads up to this and is very scenic. You can easily rent bicycles/motorbikes to tour the village. There is a free foot massage as well. The host gave us gifts as well at the time of departure. Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Tam Coc Peaceful Nature. The hotel is beautifully located in a quiet natural setting, perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful, which made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Breakfast was delicious, and the whole atmosphere of the place is calm and authentic. We only stayed for two nights, but we truly wish we could have stayed longer. We were honestly sad to leave! Highly recommended – we would love to come back.

Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care went far beyond what we expected. She was always attentive, helpful, and welcoming, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. It was my first time staying in a hostel, but I'm completely satisfied with my staying there. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant people. The hotel is right at the shore of the river, beautiful views. The bed was clean and wide (even for me, with my 188 cm of height, there was enough space to feel comfortable). And breakfast is so delicious(you'll have a variety of options). Located 5 minutes walking from the centre. I would definitely stay here again when I go to ninh binh again. Thank you, guys, for your hospitality!

We loved the location, a bit outside of the city, in the middle of green. Beautiful cafe spot a few meters away with delicious smoothies. It was easy to use bikes from the property or even rent motorbike (8 dollars per day) Staff was super nice and accomodating. Dinner on the premise is possible, a bit pricier than in the city. It's also nice to support an social initiative, employing people with special needs.

The room was perfect, beautiful overseeing the river with beautiful light. Bathroom was also great! Great breakfast with lots of options. Dinner was also really good! We took the free bicycles to go to some of the places close to the hotel, staff was always really helpful and nice! Can't recommend this place enough!

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town...

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town next to Ninh Binh. We stayed for 6 nights total and there were lots of things to do around. Pagodas, tamples, lots of caves, boat tours through those caves, Hang Mua view. I can definitely recommend it.

The bed was a king size, comfiest bed I have slept in all Vietnam, also the air con worked, having your own bathroom and shower, and the staff were super lovely. Loved the stay here felt super luxurious.

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly enjoyed Ninh Binh. I explored the area including the Trang An boat through the Halong Bay on land (it really is), cycling around the rice fields, visiting the Mua Cave (and going up the mountain), the hidden parts and cafes. It’s a slower pace place but this makes it special.

I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real...

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real attraction is Trang An. Get there early - 6:50am, choose Route 1, and prepare to be transported into another world. Pictures do not capture the other worldly atmosphere of the place - it really is something special.
