The staff's assistance was the most oustanding service from this hotel. I was incredibly thankful to Hung, who helped arrange a cake order from a local shop for our birthday surprise before our arrival. Hue was extremely helpful with advising postal/freight service for our excess stuff!!! They were sincere, tremendously warm, kind and helpful! 🥰🥰🥰 The hotel was well kept, and the staff were informative and always ready to help. We are a group of 10, therefore, came with a little bit of demand, and there was no time where we felt like we were too much or bothersome. We had a pleasant stay and smooth assistance from transport to personalised requests 🥰🎂 📦 Location was extremely close to the beach and city is a small walk if you fancy some slower evenings.

Newly under the Radisson name and it's absolutely fantastic! The hotel was absolutely 10/10 and definitely a 5 star hotel. The location has great views from the rooms with the Bay View option. Definitely book here if you are looking for a great hotel

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was incredibly attentive and always ready to help. The room was very quiet, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the neighborhood felt safe and pleasant. Given the quality of service and comfort, it’s a fantastic value for money. Highly recommended!

Fabulous setting looking out over Halong & Halong Bay. Enormous suite & quite reasonable, we chose a Bay view but Golf view was also impressive. Breakfast was one of the biggest buffet selections we'd ever seen in our lives & great omelets. Great pool & golf available at Club just behind hotel.

2 nights was good for us as wanted to experience the boat...

2 nights was good for us as wanted to experience the boat experience as well as location. Yes it was busy with other boats and tourist but the location was what we chose and you make it your own when you get your own time when not doing any excursions.. the views were breathtaking. Will be a once of experience for us .

Yen Tu is a mountain area with a highest peak of over 1000 meters. Hiking to Yen Tu Mountain is a fantastic and spiritual experience. You will see a lot of old temples of more than 700 years, which gives you a feeling back in ancient time.

Co To Island is a very peaceful place. We were perhaps the only tourists from Europe there. Otherwise only local. On the other hand, there is nothing much to do there, we went there to relax for a while and the place was perfect for that. Empty beaches, warm sea, nice people. The problem was with the trash on the beach. They are still trying to clean it up, but they say the sea from China is still washing up there. Garbage is a problem in Vietnam as a whole.

The karsts are beautiful, and can easily be viewed from shore without the need to do a boat tour. The tourism is a "wild-west" scenario, with the natural environment taking a pounding. There's trash in the water, hordes of people crammed onto literally hundreds of boats and ships, diesel permeates the air... It's a tourist trap money grab done poorly! I hear Cat Ba Island is more scenic, natural, and unspoiled. Maybe that's a better option. We WOULD NOT return to Ha Long Bay,

The downside is the transportation to + forth.

The downside is the transportation to + forth. We bought tickets on a shuttle van from Hanoi. There must be better options but the resort doesn't offer transportation services. So, you either hire a private car at $100 USD one way or pay $12 USD one way for a seat on a shuttle van. These vans will pick people up on their way as well as cargo so priority is whoever or whatever comes first. It took 3.5 Hours from Hanoi + 4 hours on thew way back. Drivers are OK but they can be extremely aggressive on the road to meet their timeframe.

It was off peak so not everywhere was open.

It was off peak so not everywhere was open. Some of the streets were deserted. However the boat trip was really good, busy but not as busy as in peak season when it must be too busy! The boats all go to the same places so the sea is just filled with boats which slightly detracts from the experience . We did enjoy our boat trip and our boat was lovely and had loads of space and not too many people! Maybe around 20 of us but spread over 3 decks, so loads of space!

The service was excellent, comfort of the room, bed particularly, balcony with the view to the pool and green. The surrounding nature is fabulous if you like nature. Just exploring and walk around the compound and village is nice thing to do. There were horses, would be nice if they are more taken care for, and activity of horse riding around the nature with guide would be a plus.
