The staff regularly checked in to ensure our comfort and went above and beyond to meet our needs, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The resort itself is a lush, green oasis—beautifully maintained with plenty of shade and tranquil spaces to relax. Our rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. The swimming pool was a highlight for both the kids and adults—refreshing, well-kept, and surrounded by nature. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Every meal felt like a treat, with a variety of options that catered to both local and international tastes. In addition, we very much enjoyed the complimentary massage and yoga sessions. It’s well located, the staff is super helpful, the place is absolutely clean (even in the bathroom you could eat from the floor) and the breakfast is delicious (Asian and western options, buffet). I recommend staying here, because from talks with other tourists, there is a lot of scamming going on and you can’t trust any other place. There were a lot of traveling groups, apparently the big companies and Vietnam Airlines trust this place, which confirms my impression of being the safest and best choice. Better book a bigger room with a river view, as it is quieter. It’s nice to run at the river shore, as you can start your run right at the hotel door. I counted back and forth 5km in total, which was enough for me in the Asian climate :) The walking street starts about a 100m from the hotel. Secluded and peaceful beach location, with well-groomed surroundings and a comfortable hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff was great! I had dinner at the Rice Bowl a few times, and the Japanese food and service were excellent! However, compared to similar restaurants in Hanoi, it was a bit pricy. The beach was excellent, clean and quiet. The proximity to the golf course was fantastic too, although I did not play, as I was there to watch a tournament. Lien was absolutely lovely and her homestay was amazing, cannot recommended enough. She made us feel very at home and welcomed us with fruit, tea and soup. Lien is very knowledgeable about the area and what our options to see any of the sights would be individually or as a package. She was also kind enough to book the bus for us and take us to the bus stop in the morning. The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get out of town to visit some of the tombs and a pagoda. Some of this can also be visited by boat. The main attraction is the Imperial City. The river is nice. Plenty of activity on the opposite side of the river from the Imperial City. Nice beaches and lagoons, especially Lap An Lagoon. You can go for a boat ride around the lagoon, visit oyster farms and Lang Co fishing village. Or take a mototaxi to nearby Lang Co beach, village market and to the Hai Van Pass. Stopover at Ga Lang Co , the little train station, and wait for the train to arrive. From there you can also have a nice view of the fishing village and Lang Co Bay. Enjoy the seafood at the seafood restaurants, eg. An Lagoon where you can dine by the lagoon and watch the sunset.
