Even though it's a little of the beaten track, Vu Linh homestay was pleasurable experience. Nam, who speaks good English, and his family made us feel welcome. Meals were excellent and there was plenty of happy water every night. Our upgraded accommodation with con, comply bed and hot water made sleeping enjoyable. Motor bike hire was on site as well.

The proprietor, Michael, is a super nice, helpful guy (although English is limited, easy to communicate with). Comfortable place, even if a bit older. Well equipped. Minibar and water bottle refills a nice touch. Great location. If you are looking for a break from the beaten path, Tuyen Quang a nice reprieve.

Moon is a wonderful host, full of warmth and care. She even picked me up and dropped me off to the busses. Ms Oanh cooked delicious vegetarian meals for me. It is quiet, welcoming and clean. There are 3 cute dogs and I even got to attend one of Moon's singing bell ceremonies. I am looking forward to coming back one day.

Tuyen Quang is a great city to visit, but what really made my experience great was booking at this homestay. The house is really new and modern so money is really worth it. The owner and the staffs are well trained and professional they will help you whatever you need. The owner speaks English as well so it’s easy for a foreigner to stay in. It is also a convenient place because it is near the market shopping centre restaurant and so on.
