    Misty Hills Country Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The thatched-roof bungalows are spacious with lovely interior décor and furniture, and are laid out along many winding brick paths in a lush tropical setting with flowers, shrubs, and trees, some with botanical labels on them. Along the paths are many splendid African art carvings, statues, small flowing brooks, ponds, and beautiful scenic views. The grounds have been meticulously planned and laid out, as have the rooms and buildings on the many acres in this resort. Each room, dining area, meeting room, and the reception area are adorned with African art—sculptures, paintings, and historic artefacts/memorabilia, with windows that look out in to the tropical gardens and trees. The service is first class. The accompanying huge breakfast buffet has dozens of choices of fresh fruit, warm and cold meats, special dishes, cheeses, cereals, and pastries, with several people ready to cook any personal preference you may have, as well as table service in the large dining hall with its African motif surrounding you. Of course, the world-renowned Carnivore restaurant is on the Misty Hills grounds and is a real treat for those who enjoy a meal of game in a festive setting with meat delivered to your table on large skewers. There is also a nice dining room with a good lunch and dinner menu adjacent to the reception area. In every way, this hotel is great and a wonderful experience; we’re from Canada and have returned every time we’re in the Johannesburg area.

Daniel at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed to make the most of our visit. His warm smile and welcoming attitude set the tone for our stay. A special shoutout goes to Terrence, our game drive guide, whom my son fondly referred to as the “Walking Encyclopedia.” His passion for wildlife and deep knowledge made the entire experience unforgettable. Every animal we encountered came with an interesting and educational story, making the game drive not just fun but also enriching for all of us. Brette, who took us on the boat ride, was a true professional. He made us feel completely safe and comfortable while allowing us to fully enjoy the peaceful beauty of the water and its surroundings. We were also looked after so well by Janet, our waiter, and James at the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious—every meal was a treat, and the service was attentive and warm. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Cradle Moon. The combination of stunning nature, outstanding hospitality, and passionate staff made this a trip to remember. Thank you to the entire team for making our experience so special—we will definitely be back!

    food definately not great ordered a platter rib and chicken wings for R400 85 percent of the plate was chips, also the ribs were cold and the chips were hot, which makes me believe my orde3r ws standing for awhile, we waited over 1 and a half hours for service. the food was not chef standards at the cost that they were charging. We only ate there as we had just done a long journey and did not want to venture out as we were tired. otherwise the staff and rooms were lovely, location lovely

    I loved everything about Hotel 224, the breakfast was to die for, my room 1102 was cleaned and it was very comfortable. I loved the services that the driver offered to me, I got to work on time and they fetched me from work on time as well and they were very friendly. Overall I would recommend Hotel 224 to everyone. I loved every single thing and their staff is so welcoming and user friendly :) and they had an ironing room wow I could go on and on about their hotel.

    I lived in Pretoria for 5 years before moving to the UK.

    I lived in Pretoria for 5 years before moving to the UK. Pretoria has its own special uniqueness. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many of the smaller shopping centers had been upgraded and new shops added. However, the road works on Solomon Mahlangu Drive have been going on for years, I have been gone for 2 and a half years, and that particular road is still a nightmare. One word of warning to travellers is don't presume that because the traffic light is green you can go, way too many drivers think a red light means they can keep going. Saw a few nasty accidents while there. I found in general, SA has become ridiculously expensive, especially when eating out. Keep valuables in the trunk of your car and always check that your vehicle is locked before walking away to do shopping.

    Southern Sun is an excellent computer hotel on the doorstep of OR Tambo airport. The rooms are comfortable and the shuttle service from and to the terminal is very good. The hotel has all the amenities business travellers require including a gym and pool. The bar and restaurant are also excellent. Most important of all, the staff are happy and efficient.

    This estate is located at a very good spot with nice surroundings, the mall of Africa is at a 2 minutes driving, the estate security system is efficient to prevent theft, robbery and it dissuades the intentions of criminal attacks, thinks that we fear in Johannesburg. But the owner needs to put emphasis on the rooms cleanliness

    Centurion is a very nice place to visit.

    Centurion is a very nice place to visit. Especially if you just want to get aways from your norm and go relax somewhere else. It's a very beautiful town and very safe according to me. It has bolts and ubers everywhere and the mall has every store you might ever think off. It also has a Gautrain station which is huge plus for me. There are also nice places to go and have fun like the Centurion Shisanyama

    The location is perfect closer to a lot of facilities like East Rand Mall which is so enormous and has a variety of stores from food stores to pharmaceuticals like dischem and clicks.     What I liked most was de food n de staff de very friendly n de quietness of de place I didn't lyk de bathroom dat much I think de bathtub n de shower should b separated bt other dan dat de room was big n well decorated
