From our room and from the common deck area, and all areas facing front, was a picture perfect view, from the hill we were on, of the bay in front of Somerset, all the way over to Table Mountain and Capetown. So many mountains too. Every night, the sunsets were spectacular, over this incredible view! We were able to wallk in the eco park and get significant excercise in a protected and multi view "wild" area on the hill that this B & B resides on! The breakfast starts with Joanne in her brilliance (smile, countenance, and colorful clothing), greeting you and making the start of the day get off on the right foot! The fruit salad is to die for, every morning, and the you choose your eggs style and extras! Delicious!! The room had many extras in it, right down to baskets to go to the market, lawn chairs to take to the beach or whatever, and a very small, but extremely well equipped "kitchen" cupboard with all the extras and small fridge. ie. Wine glasses for 4, dishes, cutlery, cutting board, etc for 4 people, even though the room is for two. The deck that we had was extra large, and so we could choose between sun and shade areas to sit and gaze at the spectatular surroundings! The staff were so pleasant and friendly and helpful, but only as involved as you want them to be. They even will do your laundry for you and have it back to you promptly, for a small charge. We so loved our time there! Wish it was closer to western Canada!! Such a lovely retreat! Also, Joanne is a collector, so she has a house full of beautiful things! The grass thatched roof with the unique Turkish chandelier was gorgeous in our room and the dining room. You eat in the dining area, which is the center of the house if the weather is inclement. Otherwise, breakie is on the deck.

Warm and efficient welcome! From arrival until check out, this establishment exceeded our expectations. You will not find better value for money in this price range. The roads are really quiet in the evenings to ensure sound sleep. The pool is in immaculate condition, but sadly, we didn't try the putting course. Lola was really friendly and deserves a treat! It is safe, I loved the Estate the propertyis on.. We were in Somerset for Medical reasons, so it was awesome that it is close to the hospital! The rooms of the Loft are spacious, clean and has everything you need!.... the bath tub was out of this world! And it is perfect that the rooms are across from each other. We had a problem with the electricity the one day, which was sorted out straight away! We will definitely be back!

Liked the location sea breezes, Safe and quiet. Dud not have a chance to taste breakfast as I woke up late and my transport was on it's way.

Brilliant location, walking distance to most things and a stone throw away from the beach. The hosts were also lovely and very helpful.
