The Featherbed was great value for money for our family of four. The accommodation was modern, very comfortable, and had all the amenities for a long stay. To add to the warmth of the property, the host was marvellous with loving and genuine personal care and to our comfort. We also enjoyed the use of the pool table and the common area during our stay. The property also boasts lovely two person accommodation, well separated from family units, which is great for discerning couples or business minded individuals. Thank you for a lovely short stay. We hope to be back for a longer stay in the near future.

Wonderful, friendly, Karoo hospitality. Small boutique hotel in a small town in the Little Karoo. Fabulous food. Ostrich steaks. Selection of local wines and artisinal beers. Classic Movie nights. Showers and baths with lots of hot water. Good cooked breakfast. The decor is original from the time when the hotel was opened in 1950's. There are many art works by local artists. Location. an absolute beauty of a hotel, so unique and the joy of all the different decor in the rooms. The staff also were so professional and warm and friendly, especially Candice at the front desk. The outdoor facilities are gorgeous too and we had a dip in the pool. The only downside was we only had one night there I would suggest if you're going book 2 or more nights!

The room was clean and bright with a very comfortable bed and quality linens. The location couldn't be any better; located a short walk between two shopping centers. The staff were excellent; friendly, professional and competent.

The overall feel, the construction was very different and beautiful. The staff was very nice. The dinner options are limited but the breakfast has a nice spread.

Very central to eateries and the town. The rooms are quite sound proof. No unnecessary intrusions from staff. Was quite busy when we visited and you wouldn't have noticed. The pool was well kept and maintained. We could just drop the keys in the box when we left. The rooms have aircon which was a life saver during the December heatwaves.
