NetherlandsIt was a delightful experience! The property is exceptionally well-maintained, with brand new cottages that are not only beautifully designed but also spotlessly clean.
Although we didn’t get a chance to use it, the pool looked very inviting (and clean). One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to a nearby national park, which allowed us to see some amazing wildlife right from the property. It was such a treat to watch the animals so close by.
We also enjoyed the estate’s restaurant - breakfast was tasty and made with fresh ingredients.
It is a fantastic place to stay, offering comfort, cleanliness, and a wonderful connection to nature. Highly recommended!

SwedenEverything! The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy. It was easy to locate. The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful and we felt safe even with all the animals roaming around freely. We had clear communication with the hosts.
There are shops close by as well as a gas station. A restaurant around the corner if you don't feel like cooking. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and felt it was too short, so we will definitely be going back.

Staff is incredible friendly and knowledgeable and can help you out with trips (not just with the ones they offer themselves). I had the best experience of travelling in my whole life! My family and I felt really at home! the hosts, Marcel and Lizete are the most kind and friendly I ever met! they did everything for us to have a great stay and made the impossible turn out possible! We had Tambo airport transfer and Kruger private drive with Marina and Dirk and they were the same! Jan is also excellent safari guide! it was an incredible stay that made us forget the 24h delay of Air France and enjoyed everything. The delay of our flight made us loose 1 day of our stay and Marcel asked for the dance and singing group of Matsamo village to go to the Lodge to perform for us as an offer!!! and provide us all the documents for assurance and Air France complaint.
and the food... delicious! the big 5 and much more... fantastic! the wild animals going to the Lodge... amazing!

It was the best place I have ever been to. I did not expect such service.
All the staff was very friendly. All the staff were like best friends who were constantly worried about us. There were more staff than guests in the lodge.
The food was very tasty. The Internet worked reliably and we watched youtube.
The Lodge area is very cozy and large.
We did not think about anything and enjoyed being in this place.
The safari was also great.

WOW! This was our first night in Kruger, it is situated right next to the malelane gate.
We had a complementary refreshment at reception during check in. we had a wonder onto the balcony and we could see elephants in the distant!
Rooms are perfect. We also had dinner at the restaurant, food was great, staff were lovely.
It was the perfect start to our Kruger adventure.

My family and I really enjoyed the stay. It was fabulous the area was peaceful and the animals that came to visit we really had a good time.
The house was beautiful more than I expected.
The pool clean and refreshing.
Aircon and ceiling fan kept the house cool we loved it.

Beautiful place! Animals across the river are in full view. Amazing staff, very tasty food. Good selection of wines. Special thanks to our ranger Elvin. Everything was excellent. I definitely highly recommend this lodge to everyone!

The location is amazing. Close to the crocodile river we saw every day hippos, crocos and elephants.
Malelane gate is only 15min from the lodge which is nice to start an early game at 6am

The area we stayed in was quiet and safe.
The area we stayed in was quiet and safe. I liked that there were a few restaurants to choose from, even ones affordable to South Africans. The SPAR that did deliveries was a bonus. The local, permanent residents were super friendly and always ready to point out animals in the adjacent Kruger National Park. The roads off the main road are gravel, but if you drive slowly, it is easily managable. We bought a 40kg bag of pellets for the wildlife and enjoyed putting it out for them.

Malelane town itself is ok - good food shopping available. Its benefit is its proximity to Kruger National Park.
Would recommend Hamiltons restaurant not far from the park gate and The Deck a bit further along Crocodile river with great views of the river.

I think if you are a couple don't choose single beds maybe double bed is better. The place is full of mosquitoes be prepared and buy something that can protect you that's what we did.the lodge is located in the township not good for other people .no microwave no kettle to make tea

It is like living in the true African wild. There are excellent restaurants serving great food, as well as convenient small shops to stock up on anything you may have forgotten. And if your love of the wild needs another boost, it is 30 minutes from the incredible Kruger National Park.

We use Malelane as our last stop into Kruger.
We use Malelane as our last stop into Kruger. Being 7 hours away not only is it a good resting stop after a long drive but also the opportunity to stock up on Supplies. There is everything you need at the Mall. Between Spar & now Woolworths you are able to stock up well.

Marloth Park is large and has good facilities to support self-catering getaways. You can get provisions in the town and there are a variety of restaurants available. Ngwenya Lodge, about 10km away, has an excellent restaurant overlooking the Crocodile River with views into Kruger Park. There are viewpoints in Marloth Park where you can watch game and crocodiles on the river and look into Kruger Park. In addition, enjoy the local antelope that frequent the accommodation places and eat the game feed that you can put out to attract them.

A nice place to be. Not enough for a short stay. There is so much to do and see if you visit a place a few days. The Kruger Park is within reach. The eateries are relatively a few km away. Rural but very nice experience for an urban person.
