We had a fantastic time at Safari Moon Lodge! Staff was exceptional. Caroline was amazing, she made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. The lodge is stunning, rooms were huge and beautifully decorated. Breakfast, which was served outdoors in a beautiful garden/pool setting, was delicious. They pay a lot of attention to detail and it was small things like a little snack box for the road, which made the stay extra special. We will definitely come back!

The location & style of the accommodation were perfect and so romantic. Nyarai and the staff were nice and gentle! Our stay was so great we wouldn’t leave and will come back for sure as soon as we can. The cuisine on offer at Moya is so delicate and sophisticated, with a chef and his assistant who take the time to explain everything and lead the way with brio! We enjoyed every moment of it. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, where the Moya is, is really safe and you can see many animals 🤩 Thank you Nyarai and the team! You rock 🤩

Our stay was incredible, 5 star luxury from start to finish. The food was amazing, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms had everything we needed. Maria and Reinhardt were extremely kind and helpful with anything we needed and provided great information on Kruger NP and surrounding area. All of the staff were kind and no ask was too much. Our journey through the safari was nothing short of fantastic, beginning with a thrilling encounter with a sleeping lion en route to the lodge. The adventure continued with more lion sightings as we departed. Our guide, Christelle, was the highlight of our trip. Her extensive knowledge and evident passion for wildlife truly enriched our safari, transforming it into a magical adventure. We experienced great extra drives, pursuing the echoes of roaring lions and observing the serene beauty of a lounging leopard. Fortune smiled upon us, allowing us to witness four different leopards, including a surprise visit from one during our sundowner drinks – a moment of sheer amazement especially for Christelle!!. The warmth and hospitality of Dave and Nikki made us feel like a part of the Nyala family. Their exceptional attention to detail in the dining experience, complemented by Shylet's service, elevated our stay. Our heartfelt thanks to the Nyala family for crafting such an unforgettable and unique safari experience.

Absolutely everything was perfect. I simply could not have asked for anything more. We felt extremely safe, we were well fed and had so much fun doing all the different activities. Tomjachu Bush Retreat is absolutely perfect for people wanting to explore African nature at their own pace and be safe whilst doing so (thanks to the electrically fenced massive estate keeping dangerous animals and humans away). We are vegetarian and Tomjachu Bush Retreat accomodated us with super delicious vegetarian meals throughout our stay. I dont have anything to complain.

Excellent views of Three Rondavels from our chalet no. 98. Nice restaurant. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary utensils, cutlery, fridge, microwave, toaster, hot plates, etc. Therefore, you can make your own food and do not need to rely on the restaurant. There's a braai outside as well. Nice views from the upper view point. The lower view point is not exciting. Very nice and tranquil place for relaxing and getting away from the city life.

Very calm, feels like home. The staff felt like family, we were taken care of like royalty. The room was very clean and spacious. As soon as Rheni knew about our honeymoon he made sure to focus on the smallest details to make our stay romantic and enjoyable. Precious was amazing at serving us during dinner and breakfast , very smiley! the mama in the kitchen really put their heart in the amazing food they cooked for us ! Definitely coming back!

Nelspruit is a well run city, s gateway for anyone passing through to Maputo-mozambique, Limpopo, the Kruger Park. The one bad thing about the place is lack of taxi services like Bolt or Uber locally. One has to do with the local minibus taxis which do not always service some areas and operate at set hours. There are some operators but charge speculative fares due to the absence of app based taxis. I'm told this is due to minibus taxi operators blocking their activities. An example is going to/fro the airport which is problematic, or going to Maputo. There are few options.

A great location for some rest and relaxation.

A great location for some rest and relaxation. I went on a Big 5 safari game drive, and got to see the animals up close. I also had a heavenly spa experience at Karuna, and visited the nearby reptile park to see some rare snake species. Lots of restaurants around to try out a variety of meals, I went to the Club House and had tasty ribs. Then the breakfast at Aragula is to die for.

This was my first visit to the area and I found the natural beauty absolutely mind-blowingly magnificent. It is already a tourist hub and, as a South African, I truly hope the roads can be improved and poverty reduced so that it becomes an even more attractive place to visit.

Not too far from the N4.

Not too far from the N4. About an hours drive to most attractions, like the Kruger, Lone Creek Falls, Lisbon Falls and God's Window. Graskop Gorge is also on the way to Blyde River Canyon. The scenery while driving makes the drive worth it.

Booked a 1 night stay for my family of 4 at Forever Blyde River Canyon. The viewpoint was exceptionally beautiful. The pool area is really nice and the overall resort is very clean and well maintained. Quiet and peaceful. The 4 sleeper chalet is not something I would book again in it's current state.

Kampersrus is about 30Kms from Blyde River Canyon so if you have activities planned there, it’s the perfect budget friendly town to stay at. I highly recommend it. The only downside is that it has limited shops, and the shop closes at 6pm. After that you’ll have to drive to nearby towns for restaurants etc

Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations. Great to see the wild horses and visit the magnificent waterfall. Excellent restaurant with the best Eisbein and beef goulash at Bohemian. Wonderful Sunday afternoon music too. Nice to meander through the village streets. We were lucky to see the Autumn leaves turning so delightful colours everywhere.

It's a lovely and convenient stop over if you're on your way...

It's a lovely and convenient stop over if you're on your way to Kruger park or Mozambique and surroundings, so that you don't have to waste entire days getting to your destination. The scenery is beautiful and there's lots to see and enjoy as part of your trip
