The Kliphuis and Cottage are both amazing with so much character and decorated beautifully! It is so close to Pretoria but feels remote. The estate is lovely with the golf club house within walking distance. It was a great weekend break and I will go back anytime!

    Breakfast was excellent and the location is easy to find as they sent me a location with a google direction with a map. The security is very tight, without a code you wont get access and the owner is loving and caring for she got a good customer care knowledge together with the whole team. the massage was beyond my expectation , the massage ladies they know their job very well. the owner book for us a massage and the rangers took us for a ride to see lions and cheetahs.it was Wow when we visited the bush, it was marvelous to brush the neck and head of a cheetah kneeling down next to me.

    EVERYTHING absolutely beautiful place so peaceful... the staff were all amazing even coming to put the fire on for us. The place was spotless and Jan was such a joy. The game drive we took was wonderful and the game ranger on it(can't remember his name) was incredible, really answered all our questions explained everything we were seeing... we honestly didn't want to leave.

    I liked the hot tub and relaxing and listening to the sounds...

    I liked the hot tub and relaxing and listening to the sounds of the wildlife such as the Jackels calling and the whooping of the hyenas. Also, just the general sounds. There are also a variety of birdlife that come through. I enjoy the tranquillity especially in the early morning.

    I liked that it was peacefull,but I did not like the small portions of food served ,and they are very expensive,there was literally 6 chips given on my burger meal I also ordered a R250 T Bone Steak with veggies but the steak was great but the veggies were too small. The towels did not smell nice,my bedding smelled like there was somebody who slept there before me and they forgot to change the bedding,it was not fresh.There was dust on the furniture inside our rooms,the chalets are not maintained at all they look rusty.The overall hygiene was not impressive.

    There is no much to do in Pretoria North.

    There is no much to do in Pretoria North. We had to travel to Pretoria East for some entertainment. My favourite place was Wonderboom Nature Reserve for hiking on the 26/12/2024. 27/12/2024 we went to Sorcery Coffe Shop in Pretoria East n we njyd ourselves and had a relaxed branch.

    We loved the service, the food and the setting.

    We loved the service, the food and the setting. Getting the feel of Africa so close to town is priceless. The animals came to drink water at sunset and we loved watching them. We had our dinner next to the pool which made walking back to the room easy for our elderly mother. The only negative is that one of our party had a cold shower the next morning and only realised the water was cold once she was under the shower.

    The room is tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and beautiful linen. Spacious inside, well equiped and beautifuk bathrooms. The outside kitchen is fantastic, more than enough cutlery to host your neighbours and friends. Proper cutlery and crockery is supplied. The Boma area is fantastic, with all you need, honestly the owners thought of everything. We lacked nothing. PS Wood and Ice was only a phone call and 3 minutes away, anytime of day. The shop is well stocked with everything that you could have forgotten about. I can recommend this lodge to anyone needing a bush break, you will be pleasantly surprised Lastly, very central to Dinokeng with many activities and restaurants close by
